Any update on Easley?

There certainly are a lot of medical opinions in this thread based on having no information at all.

Howe and other reporters are stating that it's "a hip injury" sustained on his block on the previous play. He drew a holding penalty on that block... so perhaps pulled or twisted some hip tendon or muscle.

I think it may be time for a thicker set of glasses.
I see what you did there.

I was hoping it was a cramp, but when they showed it again it looked much worse than that, and he would have come back in had it been a cramp.

Fitzy on Comcast had a good line last night. Easley shows great potential, but he's built out of J.D. Drew spare parts.

I "disliked" because JD Drew was the biggest "anti-gamer" known to man. He needed to be "perfect" to play- like a temperamental car on a cold morning.

Let's hope Easy isn't like that.

Good post!

Hip injuries are serious business. Hopefully it's not season ending.

Unfortunately, it looked bad, a pulled muscle at best, but it looked really like a hip injury.

hopefully he can get back from this.

I think when we saw Easley back in the game it was a replay of when/how the injury may have happened on the previous play to his injury.

As angry as I (still) am about giving up a 1st round pick...I think the truth is that they can either become a longterm vet (Mankins/Solder/Wilfork) or an injury prone risk like Mr. "Not so" Easley.
I hope he gets back without major hitches.

If Dominique can perform the football version of Nancy Drew's grand slam that helped save an ALCS that led to a World Series...then it will be a successful career in my book!

(Dominique is a feminine name...so I don't need to call him Nancy. Also, note my use of the word "book" in the same sentence as fiction book protagonist Nancy Drew).

This is another one of those 'No news is good news'.

Hoping to see him back out there soon. We need his motor.

Aye. Maybe it's a good thing when a guy crumples to the ground with a leg/hip injury without being hit there?

Definitely looked like a hip/groin injury. The way his torso was torqued and the spot he grabbed definitely looked like the pelvic area so perhaps Psoas or Sartorius muscle point of origin on the pelvis.

Disclaimer: No, I am not a MD, Physical Therapist, or a Kinesiologist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. ;)

Meanwhile, sounds like #Patriots dodged a bullet with DL Dominique Easley. He has a hip pointer, may just miss a week or two, I’m told.

The Bills game looks like one for the three big DTs as opposed to Easley anyway, and I'll just be blatantly honest and say that I'm not worried about the Jags. Week 4 against the Cowboys would be a good time to have him back, although at that point they may be extra cautious and wait until after the bye.
