And now ... Shiftgate! Patriots violate 'unwritten rule'!

You mean comments like "we were outplayed and outcoached"? I can think of one coach who has the grace to say that after every loss. But he's, you know, evil and arrogant.
In fact in Bill's post game presser he mentions several time how they need to coach better in the future.....and they WON the game.

I have only seen clips and comments from "do you job", but its clear that THAT is the reason the Pats win so often, and NOT these excuses these losers keep on making. I wonder what excuses Tomlin will create for their NEXT loss, because unless HE and his staff are going to need to do a better job, or they aren't going to fair well with Baltimore, and Cinci in their division.

“I thought that there was a rule against that,” Roethlisberger told reporters. “Maybe there’s not. Maybe it’s just an unwritten rule. … We saw it on film, that the Patriots do that. They shift and slide and do stuff on the goal line, knowing that it’s an itchy trigger finger-type down there.”

So you saw it on tape, but you were still unprepared.

Great coaching Tomlin.

There are four games on our schedule that concern me regarding Brady being taken out with a cheap hit. The first was last night and the other three will be the two vs Miami (Suh) and one vs Houston (Watt).

I'll give you Suh.. But Watt? Watt is an honorable player. He would never take a cheap shot on Brady..

It should be a requirement that every team gets a representation on that committee. Wonder why BB isn't on it.
He doesn't want to have to deal with the whiny BS on a regular basis..

LOL I hope this continues all season. Having teams whine like this about losing games to us is almost as entertaining as the actual games now.

The last few times the Pats played against Watt he was low and late on most pass plays. He took out Tenn QB Mark Mettenberger last season on exactly that kind of low late hit. He has a high motor that doesn't shut off after the play is over.

ATTENTION STEELER FANS: Lambert's Dress Shop is holding a Free Dress or Skirt offer for the rest of September during their "Put a Dress On Them " yearly special. Bring your used tissues for your free dress or skirt and use the code word "cry" for big savings.

Just tell them Mikey sent you.

Anyone got Mike Tomlin's email? maybe we can get him a bunch of BB clips to teach him how to stop being a whiney baby.

Why is Watt "honorable"? Is it because he "trains" in a super secret cabin in the north woods of east bumf#ck, yet finds the time to chirp to Peter King? Is he honorable because he plays consistent grab azz with the nfl network, espn, etc? Is he "honorable" because he has a charitable foundation? I can't f#cking stand the media's circlejerk to JJ Watt....another case of the media carrying the water of a player that talks to them...has anyone ever asked him why his career box score vs the Patriots is full of zeros with no impact plays?
Is he "honorable" because Houston's owner said "JJ Watt would never destroy his cell phone...nah nah nah nah nah"...this whole sudden JJ Watt pud pull makes me sick...and it's even passing over to Patriots fans apparently....

Watt is honorable because he'd never intentionally attempt to injury another player. Clearly you have a hard on for anyone who says anything remotely positive about one of the best players in the league.

Theres nothing in the observable Universe as great as the Butt Fumble.

I'm surprised Roger Goodell didn't suspend Vince Wilfork for 4 games for using Brandon Moore's butt to force Mark Sanchez to fumble in that game in 2012 at MetLife Stadium,

Hey Ben!

If the Steelers' OL doesn't know the snap count, that's entirely on them.

Unwritten rules are generally a good thing. Not knowing something is not actually an unwritten rule, and screwing up a play because of that lack of knowledge, is always a bad thing.
