I hope he's ok. He was getting some nice push up the middle for the few plays he was in there. I think he's an important piece to the overall performance of our defense.

Maybe someone has a clip of the injury play. It seemed to me that he grabbed above his hip, more like the iliac crest area. Seemed like he wrenched something that attaches there.

Slowly headed to the "bust" list..........too soon?? :)
OK...........how about to the same list that Glass I Dowling ended up on :)

It's a shame good thing we are not depending on him.

It looked real bad... reminded me of rosevelt colvin...

He was down on the field for awhile, and he walked off with help from trainers VERY slowly. He was also reported to have been moving at a snails pace in the locker room after the game...

So unbelievably frustrating... he was one of the reasons I was excited for the defense this year... so far he's been a total bust of a 1st round pick due to injuries

I'm sure we won't know until early next week. But it didn't look good.

I will wait and see. While it didn't look good, it could have been much worse. Him moving slow and stuff doesn't mean much I don't think. A guy with his history was just trying to be extra careful. I don't recall however Colvin's injury though so I have nothing to compare with.

Also what happened with Solder?

the fact that he walked off tells me that it wasn't as bad as Pittas hip which pretty much cost him his career. Hopefully more of a Chandler Jones hip injury and we can see him again in October or November as the team will play it safe this early.

There's only one thing to do in these situations. You wait a couple of days and hope you don't see the announcement that he's been put on IR. Anything else I would consider bullet dodged.

Noncontact hip injury. He must have yelped because Roethlisberger immediately signaled to the trainers. Very serious business in all likelihood.

Just hope for the best... most frustrating part of football are injuries

It really did like a Colvin type injury. I feel bad for Easley, just can't get a break (pardon the unintentional pun). I hated the pick from the minute we picked him, but he really looked explosive during the preseason, so I was happy for him and us fans. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looks. If it is a Colvin type injury, well I don't know what to think.
