Don't say Connelly, because he has lost weight and made that transition from what i understand. Anybody on the outside looking in who would still like one more shot and could be at least marginally worth it? Ourside of Stork, c/g was a weak position already.

no idea...
without a decent line, brady will struggle.

hopefully, tre jackson/shaq develop quickly with wendy!

From what I can find, the following 4 are probably the best available:

Justin Blalock - G
Chris Myers - C
Doug Legursky - C/G
Samson Satele - C/G
Brian De La Puente - C/G

Not sure what, if anything, each has left..

EDIT: Before anyone goes haywire, please note that I used the NFL Free Agency Tracker and their player search engine.. If a player has signed and not been updated there, then I apologize in advance.

Also, I don't know of any other rookie centers or guards from this years draft class that may have piqued someone's interest that might be available.. If someone like Manx could chime in, that would be great..

BJ Finney - Kansas State is floating around
Austin Sowell - Elon

I may be misreading the tea leaves, but I have to think if the team was as worried as the fans are, it wouldn't have been a CB that they brought in.

Either that or they figure they get through one game with what they have and start scouring for someone for the PS who can play center after the game.

They have Wendy and Edwards who can play the position.

Good list. Blalock retired in June. Linemen usually don't unretire. Too much bumps and bruises.

Myers retired 8/25 despite "offers." That's a short time and maybe those were with lousy teams. Legursky signed with Pitt and replaces injured starters, Satele seemed to have signed in 2014 and the fins like him.

Which leaves......

More of a journeyman, but good reports recent years

Brian De La Puente. He's available and he has an Irish first name, a wonderful Latin last name and he's actually Jewish, descended from mom and Grandma.

How could you go wrong with that? PatJew will have a new rooting interest after Edelman and Ebner. Though i need a ruling on Edelman. patrilineal counts?

I think you mean Andrews.. Also, Kline took snaps during TC, Practices and pre-season at center.

Yes- Andrews...brain freeze.

I know, that's my point. And I believe Kline can even play in a pinch.

It may be that they are planning on bringing in someone next week, but for now I'm going to assume they are OK with what they have.

I could have sworn that Legursky got released as part of the cut to 53.. Maybe NFL.com is playing tricks on me..

Satele isn't with Miami, currently, that I can find..

They don't make panic stops. Still, it's a fun game to play. thanks to DaBruins for giving a list.

If he's the pitt guy, he got cut, then brought back due to injury.

Legursky

He was released on September 5, 2015 but re-signed the next day following the placement of Maurkice Pouncey on the Injured Reserve/Designated for Return list. wiki

Whelp hope Doug what's his name can have another good season. Scar was famous for making a decent line out of undrafted players and nobodies off the streets.

Satele

You're right. The way they ended his listing it seemed like he was still with the, but he's listed as a FA on top. Probably the most talented of the 2 FAs.

.
The irony is that he was drafted by Miami with the pick sent to them in the Welker trade.......

I always liked Satele, was stout enough to stand across Wilfork and then the LOLphins traded him to Oakland
