...and Brandon Marshall reminds us he is an idiot by saying race was a factor in Brady case

What it comes down to is this:

Who in their right mind believes Tom Brady was treated with kid gloves by the NFL this summer????????
exactly. brady was screwed more than any player in the history of the nfl. I guess Brandon cant tell the difference between goodell and judge berman. what a complete moron.

I don't want to turn this thread into race thing...Shmessy and Ian will explode.

Eh, what Marshall brought up IS about race, so it's not like it would be hijacking the thread subject.

Tough call, but I think (God knows I could be wrong) that this would be a thread that is ok for a few hours, but shouldn't be blocking the rest of the forum later tonight and into gameday.

Why? The guy is a locker room cancer.

I don't hate all people with personality disorders, but BPD specifically are usually emo type individuals. Low self esteem, emotionally volatile, unstable, etc. They're f&cking annoying.

You're not a doctor, but stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

.

There are certain players that you don't really want to wind up in your division. OTOH, I'm pretty happy that Marshall is a member of the Jets.

I just wanted to make sure I didn't contribute to the discussion going off the rails.

I had a Harry Reid post from earlier today deleted which wasn't bad so I didn't want Ted Wells investigating me for "integrity of the board" violations :)

Just saw the actual clip on NFLN. One clarification - Marshall was asked to represent the viewpoint of players around the league. That's the context of his remarks.

Marshall comes across as thoughtful and well-spoken. He held his own with the other panelists (especially Esiason who pushed back pretty hard) in a effective and respectful manner.

Marshall deserves the benefit of a doubt. He's got significant personal challenges (and I wish him the very best there). In all honesty, I came away tremendously impressed with his poise and his ability to articulate his point of view.

You call this exploding? FEH, I say. FEH.

Don't know about all that but I dated a girl that was borderline and she was great in bed.

Same. That's about all they're good for. (it's actually more common among women, apparently)

i like how marshall is celebrated on tv despite his past issues.
pretty sure he beat the hell out of his GF/wife...yet tom's some monster.

why is he even on inside the nfl?? he's an active player...
