Barstool investigators spent the last month interviewing over 90 current and former employees about ESPN’s work culture. The results were shocking to say the least. One current female staffer said it’s an outright dangerous environment for women. Remember that Steve Phillips thing? Or Harold Reynolds? Or Sean Salisbury? You think just because those guys got fired for sexual harassment that the culture has changed? Of course not. Women are encouraged to use the buddy system when they go out so they don’t end up in potentially compromising positions with the male dominated staff. Another former employee who wished to remain anonymous said he was fired when he went to management to defend a female who was groped at a company party. “It’s an old boys club. If the women aren’t ready for that they shouldn’t work here. They are eye candy for all the men in the office. Listen there is a reason there were over 100 espn emails in the Ashley Madison database.

Is this the reason ESPN brought a 500 year old scandal back to life?,so that their scandals take a back seat

I am shocked................. NOT

Somebody should try to blow this story up even more. Get an investigation into ESPN and it might indicate the NFL too.

I keep hearing this "100 ESPN emails on Ashley Madison", but I have yet to see a list. If there's a list, don't just talk about it, let's see the addresses. Let's fire back.

They might want to change the advertising listed under the article. Tough to call out a news organizations for being sexist and have an add for the "28 bounces boobs we've ever seen" directly underneath the article. Unless of course that was just BSPN bate to get some back and forth generated shining a light on their article. If so well played barstool.....well played!

:)

Sexist adds on a website are a far cry from a sexist environment at work.

Right, I suspect this story is a load of BS.

The story is not BS. It may have been written in the same way ESPN writes though. Which is to pretend you have real journalists but then write a hatchet job without leaving the building just internet research and maybe a phone call. Cite something that already has been proven to give your article credibility then carefully word speculation to make it seem like fact but to also cover yourself from liability.

Very well played by Barstool!

This is not news. There was a book written about this very thing several years ago...nothing to see here, unless Portnoy's naming names...this actually seems like another attempt by Davey Pageviews to drive traffic to his site...

Send it to Kravitz...he'll run with anything

I'd love to see someone re-open Peyton Manning's sexual assault case in the media

The rumor I love is that Trey Wingo and Melissa Stark were having an affair and Chris Berman-who had a crush on her found out. He then started a smear campaign against her and she left the network.

im assuming this is a joke right? no named sources, just throwing stuff out there...if so, i like it. screw espn

Lmao, I hadn't heard that. Good for Trey! Except for it being an affair, anyway.

There were stories written about spygate years ago too. He is trolling them by doing exactly what they did. It's actually quite clever. And everything Portnoy does is to drive hits he makes that perfectly clear.

You think he got arrested just for the Pats? That was amazing PR for his site but its not only about the clicks just clicks come first. He is standing up and fighting the good fight and wants the traffic that comes with it.

Read my other posts it's sort of a joke as he is mimicking the ESPN tactics but the story is 1000 times more accurate than anything deflation related.
