Hey America - Were You Hoping Deflategate Was Over?

Yesterday: went to a mall here in SW Illinois half hour from StL. Went to a sports store, looked for some Patriot licence plate frames. They were sold out, and the salesman saw me looking so asked if he could help. I said "I was looking for Patriots frames, did you take them off the shelves because people hate them so much?" He laughed and said "you know its the damnedest thing...people always run around saying 'Screw New England' but they are one of our top sellers."

We need to chill. Even if E!SPN wants to keep crapping on the Pats, even if the trolls on PFT and NFL Memes want to throw around asterisks, our Patriots are a huge hit in America.

I just wanted to take a moment to say I have never experienced anything like this as a fan or player on any level of sports of which I have been a part. I cannot fathom that a real corporation is acting this way and it further proves that the whole thing with the footballs had nothing to do with Tom and everything to do with the organization. I have never seen a corporation so rich try to cut off its nose to spite its face to this level before and I don't believe we ever will again. We are almost exactly 48 hours from kickoff, and I have not heard a single piece of football analysis about the game! Just wow.

I should have known that something else would happen. I should have known that the NFL would not go silently into the night. I should have known that I should have been part of the bandwagon imploring Kraft to go after the picks. And as much as I still think that is the right play (pun intended), I think I want him to go after the picks. If the NFL can be petty and inflammatory, then why can't we? I don't know. If you all can believe it, this is the FIRST time that I have actually been angry all off season. I cannot believe the BS, true or not, that the NFL is putting out there and ESPN (among others) is all too happy to oblige. I'm done. I would boycott the NFL completely if I did not love Tom and the team and its coach so much. I really would. I just can't take any more of this smear campaign.

I just needed to vent in my own thread in my own way. Mods, feel free to delete this if you all are so inclined.

Damn right. This whole thing is to kill the Pats. Pure and simple.

I've said this many times, and I'll repeat it. The MFL is not some corporation of suits who look at stock charts all day. They are ex players with butt hurt agendas. They are pissed that BB doesn't adhere to their "Everyone gets a piece of the (winning) pie." They've set this up for every fanbase and team to get a chance to win. Look at the Saints. They've sucked since "Bountygate" And they are never mentioned again as "breaking the rules". They want parity. BB wont concede. It's amazing how simple minded and petty these people are. And it will be their undoing. The Pats need to attack them back thru social media.

Kraft will not go after the picks, plan and simple. He is not one of us...he is one of them, siding with his boss Goodell and the rest of the owners. We will be better off once we all accept that.

It'll be a miracle if they don't get the refs to fix the games. Admittedly I thought the NFL would ensure Seattle win the SB and they didn't so there's hope. But there's so much hatred and jealousy out there . . .

This is ESPN. Just as arrogant as the NFL. Just ask Cowherd and Patrick. The trail of tears that is littered with ESPN hosts is long. Very long.

The 1220 am apology to the Patriots really caught my eye. This shows exactly what ESPN is about. Childish, arrogant, and petty.
This is probably payback for attacks on mortensen and werder, as well as others.

To me, this whole thing comes down to many, many men in high positions. High positions in a BILLION $$$ industry.

Men that, for the most part, have done two things outside of the NFL in the real world:

Jack and Sh*t

This organization operates like no other industry at this level I have ever seen! It's a joke. The entire corporate world is either laughing or in on the cut.

Of course, this all stems from all of these owners that inherited these teams. Or just bitter old men, that never knew the game and can't build a team worth sh*t that had the money to buy one, and got horribly embarrassed by Belichick.

I'm going media black out until after the game, see you all on the flip side!

GO PATS!!!!

Apparently idiot brandon marshall played the race card on inside the nfl.

It seems that a lot of people like Brandon play that card.

Not sure. Just saw someone post about it on my twitter feed.
Gotcha. I'd be interested to know what that was all about to anyone who has seen it.

It's all about the new America where people need to "feel" acknowledged and important....everyone gets a trophy and pick on those at the top and blame them for the disenfranchised at the bottom.

Even though the disenfrachised have only themselves to blame (in the NFL).

The age of social media where we try to make the successful feel guilty like they owe everyone else for their success and we try to beat them down via blogs, Facebook and Tweets.

But it's eerily similar to our culture....AND it's not a good thing.

Think about it....

That's very true PR..... :D

Hahaha, this is too funny. Not sure why anyone is upset about these unbelievable stories. Rest of NFL is just pissed at BB because he "don't need no stinking badges."
