It's not a nuisance lawsuit. Or do you think that the NFL purposely trying to damage the reputation of a team and ruin that team by cutting it's competitive edge and therefore, essentially fixing games isn't an issue?

It's not the grounds for a class-action lawsuit.

I think the better action is something along the lines of consumer fraud.

Something needs to be done about this horse manure. If not a lawsuit, then what?
Or should we just continue to allow our own integrity to be assaulted time and time again with more of what always turns out to be lies?

Ignore the noise.

How are you assaulted?

Being a fan of a team grants you exactly zero legal rights.

So you're all right with national medias spreading lies about a sports team so
they can get their readership to hate them and their fans.
That's all right with you?

I don't have any control over what ESPN or the NFL says or does.

What I do know is, while it sucks, there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, other than stop watching their stuff. Suing them is one of the most laughable ideas I've ever read, and will be laughed out of every courtroom in the country.

Basically, your injury is that your feelings are hurt because other people don't like you.

I don't think you can sue someone for that.

This is not just about the feelings of fans.
It is about the malicious and intentional lies that these outlets are spreading.
They should be held responsible and accountable one way or the other.

The next step will be blatantly one-sided officiated games.

You don't understand the meaning of "Class-Action" and you don't understand the meaning of FRAUD. People who buy tickets DO have rights in regards to the product they purchase the ticket for.. Clearly that's beyond your comprehension.

The rights they have in regards to the product they purchase the ticket for is for the game between the two teams to be played and that's pretty much it. Go read the decision throwing out the lawsuit that Jets fan filed in the wake of Cameraplacegate. The Jets fan made basically all the arguments you are making now.

No, he didn't. But you keep telling yourself that, Quantum.. The guy accused the Pats of cheating.. This would be taking the league to task for, essentially, fixing games. Which is illegal.

The Patriots are the reigning Super Bowl champions.

How are the games fixed, again?

Please leave the conversation. You clearly don't have the capacity to partake in it.

So you either can't or won't answer that question.

Your premise is delusional, tinfoil hat nonsense. You strike me as the type as to actually think suing someone because they don't like you is a legitimate thing.

Here are some other ideas that may help the cause of 'justice' along with a legal suit:

Patriots hands across America. (from sea to sea)
Patriots 90 day hunger strike.
Creating a Patriots Games Matter social movement group

Just sayin....

Mayer sought damages of $61.6 million representing the cost of tickets for Jets-Patriots games at Giants Stadium from 2000 through 2007, covering Belichick's tenure as coach, and wanted that sum tripled under federal racketeering laws.

He alleged the games were essentially rigged and raised a separate claim against the NFL for destroying the videotapes.

But the appeals court said ticket-holders possess only licenses or contractual rights to see games, and that it is up to the NFL to enforce its own rules if something goes amiss.
