NFL's mouthpiece (ESPN) at it again with OTL piece on cameragate

Goodell should hire Wells to do another independent investigation into this, citing new information. Then take NE's 1st rounder in 2017 and a 2nd in 2018.
Why stop there? Just rule that NE doesn't get first round picks. That might level the field a little.

I'm getting a real level of bitterness and hatred for everything outside Foxboro now.

It is us versus the world (bar a few friends) Everyone else can go F themselves

Only useful piece of info I got from that article: Brady wore his Super Bowl 49 ring on his middle finger.

Your can't fight the nfl directly excuses for Kraft's apparent inaction or tepid at best response don't apply to the media. The media are not the nfl or or nfl employees. They are a rich target environment. An occasional press release or besotted demand for an apology is ineffective, especially when juxtaposed with recantations and pictures hugging the very guys kicking your ass.

The problem is that if Kraft WERE to do that, he could lose the team. He could be forced to sell much like the Clippers owner was forced to sell in the NBA.

So, what would you have him do? Please expound for everyone..

I agree with those who think this is hilarious. You just have to take that stance. If you get angry over this the bad people win.

Also, not sure if it was mentioned but I I was watching ESPN (disclaimer - at the gym doing cardio) and they had what looked like a shampoo commercial which was actually a commercial for ESPN of some sorts.

A line in the commercial was - "Softer than the balls in Foxboro".

That could never happen for speaking out against the league for injustice against the franchise.

Im not sure that would work. Sterling was forced to sell because he's a raging racist. I expect Kraft WOULD fight back legally if they tried to force him to sell, and win.

That's nuts, the NFL has kicked off a major offensive the first day after the Labor Day weekend. This is beyond absurd.

Disclaimer:
This post is an expression of incredulity, not a denial of the NFL's renewed offensive.

Racist or not I thought it was outrageous that the NBA could force Sterling to sell.

People ARE allowed to be idiots aren't they?

Gutless, crybaby ****ies. And anyone who gets angry about these bush league 10 year old tactics should remember not to let this bother you.

People hate us and Boston because we win and we are educated, cultured, winners.

They could claim that Kraft's decisions have hurt the league and could point to this crap.
With the way Kraft has capitulated, I'm not sure he would.. Jonathan might..

I embraced the hatred long ago. It's actually quite fun being the villain.

Big F'ing deal! If they wanted to force me out, I'd say let them. I'd take my >1000% profit and move on down the road.

Of course, when I reached my destination I'd go about spending the rest of my life using the inside information I'd gathered while there to ruin every single owner and high level executive I could, burning the league to the ground in the process, if possible. With all the info he must have on insider dealings and secret collusion, there's probably enough to get a bunch of people thrown in jail for a good long time.

What good is the team without the league? What point in being in a league with so many who are willing to throw you under the bus at every opportunity? If this is the level of gratitude they have for everything he's done for the league, let them see what it's like when that same business acumen is turned against them.

You should have stopped at "because we win". I love Boston, but your assumptions about the superiority of Bostonians and why we're disliked are way off.

I lived in several other states. There is some truth to what I wrote. And given the way the NFL is handling this I am probably going to follow suit and use as much hyperbole as I can since that seems to be the name of the game.

What's scary to me is, how much run they can get with "slightly deflated footballs". It won't take them long to drum up their next PATS scandal. Shameless, why can't people just get along and enjoy sport for what it is. A temporary distraction from life.

A temporary distraction from life.
Many people have a miserable life or no life. So if their team cant win they throw a hissy fit. Imagine acting like this in the "real world"?

This is a lot of people projecting their failures and trying to defend their insecurity. Sad.
