In b4 picture of Kraft hugging ESPN crew.
Haha
Best I could do, since he works for ESPN now:

This is ridiculous.
The NFL railroads the Patriots and Brady, and persuades Kraft to bend over.
Brady doesn't. Brady wins. The league responds by attacking the franchise.
Kraft should actually sell the team, he will never get fair treatment, mostly all of which is his own fault.

You can't count on Robert Kraft to do the right thing any more... you just can't.

Say what you won't about his business acumen and smarts, but he doesn't have the courage to go against his billionaire friends.

I truly believe that it's all about money and popularity for him.... and nothing else matters

I have said there really is no point in suing the league for Kraft in the past, but after today, I think it may be time to go nuclear on the league. It is quite clear that Goodell and the League will not be satisfied until they destroy the Patriots. What good is it not to piss off your 31 other partners when they are cheering on the NFL's effort to destroy Kraft's brand. It cannot be a coincidence that two similar stories coming out the same day.

I agree, Bob is a wimp! He wimped out in 2007 and again in 2015. Now the storm has risen again due to his passivity. Someone or a group of someones has a plan for this franchises downfall!
The time is here to do more than smile and shrug everything away, 'Oh well' doesn't cover it anymore. Its 'Hammering time' Bob, get your friggin hammer and start banging some heads!

Time for some "Hard Love" Bob. This time give it instead of receiving it. Trust me, you'll feel better for it.

Robert Kraft sees himself as a board member on a highly successful, money making corporation called the NFL first and foremost. He looks upon his role as owner of the Patriots franchise as his seat on the board. The financial success of the NFL is paramount to him, moreso than that of the Patriots so he's happy to take one or two or three for the team. For the greater good.

I only hope he hands over the reins to Jonathan soon, because Jonathan strikes me as someone who is less concerned with keeping the rest of them sweet and will fight his corner.

and yet his bank account keeps growing.......bob and the pats are fine, people

getting $1500 per on the new goal side patio.........he'll figure out some other stadium experience to keep it going

I agree.....This has gone way too far. How much slander is Bob Kraft gonna tolerate before the NFL completely obliterates the team's brand?

As Chiuba accurately noted for Bendover Bob it's all about being accepted in the Billionaire's Boys Club. It's like Junior High all over again. Remember that Kraft was a wealthy but relatively unknown season ticket holder back in the dark days and he's now rubbing elbows with big shots. He cares more about the 31 billionaires than the hundreds of thousand of fans. Both sad and ironic that those very same owners have been unrelenting in humiliating him.

Stop being a ****old Bob...fight back.

On a side note you can tell from his interviews that Jonathan K. is quietly seething and doesn't have his old man's need be in that clique. Doubt JK would timidly stand down if he were the owner.

It's already been obliterated. Whats left at this point?

At this point, Kraft should do what the majority of us have wanted several years ago and go nuclear on the NYJFL and the whining owners.

If he won't, then he should close his eyes and cover his ears after allowing his son Jonathan to do so...

Hell, he might as well go down with the ship. He won't go broke over doing so, having made enough money to last 8 lifetimes. But **** it. Join some of the crusaders in Washington and go after the god damn antitrust exemption. Maybe we can see Goodell and the other 31 collectively **** their pants on live television. But that's wishful thinking. Kraft's more concerned about his wallet that anything else.

As clear as it is, what chance would the Pats realistically have in court? From everything I've read, it would be practically a layup for the NFL. IMO, the only way they can fight back is behind the scenes.

At first, I wanted the Pats to declare all out war, but considering that he NFL can punish them for any public criticism of the league or NFL employees, and that they'll almost certainly lose in court, I realized that it would only further harm the brand. I truly hope they're aggressively fighting behind the scenes and are vigorously searching for any incriminating evidence on NFL wrongdoing.

There's one step first.

Put out a ringing, detailed statement of the actual facts -- not just piecemeal, but all the various stuff people make allegations about.

Then say that anybody who contradicts those in a defamatory way is subject to being sued.

There will be plenty of articles making accusations that are not legally defamatory; that's OK. There also will be articles disagreeing with them. After that dust has cleared, then assessments can be made about who needs to be sued, or at least threatened with lawsuits.
