NFL's mouthpiece (ESPN) at it again with OTL piece on cameragate

This is Bob and Brady's chance and anyone else who played here from 2000-2007. ESPN has the facts but is making accusations that they know are false. This is the easiest defamation of character case ever. Hell season ticket owners on here should contact some lawyers and see if they'd have any shot.

What nonsense. The Patriots turned over all of their notebooks and videos. They were filming while standing in plane sight. Why is this news?

Self serving crap about Kraft being one of the best owners is ridiculous and completely unnecessary.

I hope that this becomes a big story - that way they can fight the fight they should have in 07. That is if Kraft grows a pair.

A former member of the NFL competition committee says the committee spent much of 2001-06 "discussing ways in which the Patriots cheated," even if nothing could be proved. It reached a level of paranoia in which conspiracy theories ran wild and nothing -- the notion of bugging locker rooms or of Brady having a second frequency in his helmet to help decipher the defense -- was out of the realm of possibility.

I can't get past the fact that there's this big conspiracy theory about what might have been on those tapes. They PLAYED the tapes in a loop on NFL network the week that Cameragate broke. So we KNOW what was on there. Sheesh.

We need to boo the **** out of ESPN when they come here for the Bills game. Get a lot of signs about how much they lie.

Didn't that imbecile Troy Vincent essentially say that the Patriots and Brady's overly harsh punishments were in part because of past transgressions when he handed out punishment? Now Goodell is denying it.

Wasn't the agreement back in 2007 that the Pats, and especially BB, we're not allowed to respond to anything regarding Cameraplacementgate?

I think he's too smart to do it, but could the league be hoping to bait BB into saying something so that they could punish him?

I understand the impulse, but it would be a hollow gesture.

What they should do is stay there and speak their minds as aggressively as possible, and if they happen to get fired then so be it.
They should walk away from ESPN and then they should release all sorts of propaganda as insiders with direct knowledge of how ESPN is controlled by the ESPN.

Remember when Barstool had the sit in demanding answers. Mike Reiss should do that and demand Goodell answer to a local reporter with real questions and let him try and side step that.

What was Brady's supposed previous trangression?

Because it will KILL their appeal case!!!!!

ESPN and Troy Vincent just did Brady a HUGE favor!!!!!!!!!!

This is ****ing outrageous. I hope ESPN burns to the ****ing ground. As well as the butt hurt douche bags in the NFL who are trying to smear us AGAIN.

Yes, good point. This is accurate. Goodall is once again shown to be an utter buffoon and a flat-out liar.

dudes and dudettes.......in case you haven't noticed, they're not going to stop going at the pats

all this proves is that there was a backroom deal to pursue the pats by any means possible.......I think there's an underlying belief that we will stop being pats fans if they do it long enough.......

the league is the one cheating now

It is obvious that the league has a hand in this ESPN "report". Even if it didn't come from Goodell this time. Bitter people who are desperate to embellish the significance of the camera placement.
