Think the fans would rather they focus on Chancellor. That situation interests me more than this over the hill RB.

I hope he gets traded to the Raiders or Jags

Sitting out with 3yrs left on a 5yr deal is ballsy.

Thats something a certain NYJ All-Pro CB would do.

His friendship with Lynch is definitely why he chose Seattle

Oh man. That sucks. Wish we got him

They can have the jag players old man Jackson and Coleman we stole the Lombardi from them.

Don't we have like $4.50 in cap space right now?

Yeah, not much at all. I could be mistaken, but this is the tightest we've been up against the cap heading into a season in awhile.

As far as pursuing Jackson goes, yes--I fully believe this report. I think he'd have fit in nicely here, as this is the typical kind of "BB signing." It's hard to speculate how they'd have restructured pacts or who they'd have cut to free up the funds, but apparently they were interested.

who cares? fred is washed up,

While he's not someone you'd look for in terms of the future, he'd likely have carved out a niche for himself here in the 2015 season. The guy was capable of catching 40+ balls out of the backfield, and would've likely done just as well as anyone else here in terms of running the ball. More importantly, he was an experienced leader, a good pass protector and the kind of "all around" football player than makes coaches like Belichick salivate.

After all, we should be used to seeing vets who most think are "washed up" coming here and contributing in certain roles. We see this happen just about every single year.
