The "new" player addition who most excites you?

You guys have covered the obvious choices, but I'm irrationally excited to see if Michael Williams can earn a significant role like when Crumpler played more than half of the offensive snaps in 2010.

You could hardly have named two more opposite players. One is green and of unknown position, the other was an all pro. I hope Williams is dwvloping as a tackle. I doubt we go for a 300 + lb tight end long term.

I have nothing but good things about Jabaal Sheard.

Sheard, for me. No doubt about it. I'm wrong on many things, but I really liked the signings of LaFell, Sheard, and Gibson in the past couple of off seasons.

As far as rookies or surprise players go, I'm going with Harper at WR (catching around 25 balls this season), as I think he actually has the capacity to earn some of Brady's trust while LaFell is out.

Trey Flowers a fresh rotation rushing the passer and he is a beast.

I'm with you on Flowers. He looks like he could be an animal on the edge. I'd really like to see the Patriots with a ferocious pass rush this year. Chandler on one side, Flowers on the other (rotating with Sheard), Easley pushing up the middle, with Collins and Hightower crashing in on blitzes. They have the potential (that's a big word) to be incredibly disruptive.

Definitely Flowers- I love how disruptive he is. Quick off the snap with some pass rushing moves beyond his years. Chatham talked about that on one of the telecasts.

Chandler: When we had hernandez, our wide receivers were not anywhere as solid as LaFell, Edelman, and Amendola. When we had Graham and Watson, neither of them was Gronk. In any formation, the 5 skill players next to brady will be playmakers.

Honorable mentions:
Sheard - the Chandler of the Defense.
Lewis - I'm calling him Dion Woodhead.
