Sigh...Kraft seen talking to Judge Berman at party

I want to know if he was dancing with Oprah?

I like Jonathan's vibe. He will be a good owner for "real" football fans.

Way I see it Jonathan is more a fan(atic) and makes decisions as a fan would, whereas his dad seems more business oriented and makes decisions based on what is best for the business.

Since I've never had a chance to own a team and probably never will... I'm not sure which is better. Probably business type I suppose.

Kraft needs to stop talking. Every time he opens his mouth he does damage. This scandal is too big and too complex for him to manage with his back room schmoozings and social meanderings. He is now a laughingstock quickly becoming a loathsome figure. His behavior brings discredit to the franchise. I sincerely hope he has the sense to say nothing opening night and to bring no attention to himself. His machinations throughout this affair have been an embarrassment. He has done as much to damage the hearts of patriot fans as the Doofus in chief himself. Kraft speaks for no one: not the fans not the league not the players. He is despised by the fellow owners he enjoys impressing. Someone needs to open a window, let some light into the attic of his brain and enable some self-reflection.

I just hope Kraft gets more and more involved with his gf and his parties and lets someone else fully control the football team. The "context" website hadn't been online for more than a few days and he was already bowing to the 31... I remember being so excited to so disappointed. He lost me there. You guys can care about R Kraft if you like.

Honestly if Bob padded Berman's bank account good for him. At least I'd feel there's some hope for him and that on some level he's finally getting the fact that this isn't one big happy country club and that it's more like Game of Thrones with everybody else playing the game. Winter is coming Bob better late than never. Mara, Jones, Goodell and even an imp like Kensil are playing it better than you are.

EDIT: And I don't think it's true I just don't care if it is.

Kraft was technically on the losing side of the ruling. :)

There's nothing technical about it. He chose the other side quite clearly.

That's OK -- I'm sure Don Yee signed off on this before Kraft attended.

brady should file a lawsuit against the NY papers..

I was wondering about that. The NY Post has written on several occasions that Brady is a liar and a cheater with no proof to back their claims.

I know that their are concerns with Brady suing goodell/NYJFL, but wouldn't it be much easier for him to go after this POS rag?

Welp there goes the decisive court win, now its because Judge Berman is a "pats fan" and not just a Judge doing his job and seeing through the NFL's crap... you'd think our owner would be a bit more cautious and understand how being seen with the Judge 4 days after the ruling would be perceived.

STOP...STOP....STOP with the childish paranoia!

And the same thing goes for people that WASTE THEIR TIME being concerned with what other fans think!

Do I care that fans outside NE thing Pats/Brady cheated? NO, I don't care at all....not one little iota of caring....I'll never care...ever, ever, ever!

Why any Pats fan cares is totally baffling to me.

Maybe Bobby Kraft just cut a check for judge Berman...no big deal

I think you take professional football WAY too seriously....it's entertainment, nothing else.

I like Bob Kraft myself...he's not perfect, but who is?

So does Crackhead Bob just spend the rest of his days in seclusion to eliminate the chance of running into public figures tied to the Pats?

I hate the guy too but he has a right to live his life. Haters gotta hate.

He should file a suit against the Globe before he files against the NY Daily News. Gary Myers started attacking Goodell in July. The NY Post isn't worth suing; sort of like complaining that a sewer smells...what's the point?

Not sure what this has to do with the topic of this thread.

I hope this is the ESPN a headline. Would be great if the judge himself sues for defamation.

Giants two owners were there as well, so who cares?
Right. A day or two after Berman was appointed, I started trying to give the Board my best read on the Judge, based on 25 years working among folks in the legal, financial and media communities down here in NYC; my read turned out to be right on the money.

One of the things I pointed out is that Berman had a lot more in common with Kraft and Kessler than weasels like Wells and Goodell. If you read the Transcript of the August 12th Hearing, you can see what I meant.

Unfortunately, I don't travel in circles that get invited to parties like the one Kraft attended, but I know a lot of people who do. We should think of people like Zaslav, Perelman, Blankfein, Baldwin, Weinstein, Tisch, Kraft and Berman as traveling in separate circles, but in circles that often overlap like a Venn diagram on occasions like the party at Zaslav's estate.

Shmessy: Are you sure this wasn't taken after the court loss? Only because it looks like Fraudger lost some bladder control. :D

EDIT: oops... Geezer beat me to it. Maybe we can call Goodell the "Urinator".
