I agree the "pot stirring" thing is obnoxious and juvenile. But seeing the trend in current media (not just sports), it seems like this way of doing things is more prevalent. (unfortunately)

haha...I hear you, and I don't disagree.
I thought about whether I wanted to help give him the pub all these trolls are looking for, but I think the commentary was worth it.
sometimes, giving these guys attention isn't all bad.

Did not read thread. Saw this on face book. "Father" calls him "Brady" not "Tom', "Thomas", or "Tommy." BS radio station stunt.

Either Curran et al. are wrong or Tom's father is not on a first name basis with him.

It is not Boston. We are sick of it, but when it was new here (in like 2004 or whatever) it was new and refreshing. We all fell for it when it was new. Give a place like that ten years before people stop falling for it.

He could just be calling him Tom brady because he's wanting to clear his sons name. It's obvious most Americans know him as Tom brady

or since his name is Tom Brady and his son's name is Tom Brady it gets confusing and so he's calling him Brady just to be clear.
Trust me when I say that having two people in the family with the same name is confusing as hell. Worse in my family since my dad was the Jr. but my brother was not the III. People would call and ask for Jr, when they meant the younger, but we never knew if they were formally asking for my father. So we'd ask, younger or older, but depending on who was calling, sometimes they didn't know.

ahh who cares? Chip is just another in a huge lump of brain dead idiots...So he thinks hes got it right because Brady threw his phone away? Ummm I hate to tell ya chip, but I have come across many old phones that people threw here or there cause they were obsolete and useless. I guess the only reason to keep an old phone would be ( in Brady`s position or any famous person) to perhaps auction it off, but the average person, pretty sure lots of phones get chucked in the garbage on a daily basis. For what it cost and with Tom`s money not really surprising that he would just chuck it and more than likely his agent told him to do so anyways.

I mean with all the lies that the NFL and ESPN has been caught in so far, who knows what they might do with his phone to make their case. Been a witch hunt from the get go, and weak minded fools always find it easier to go along with the crowd. Or it could be like my family. Ihave an extremely common first name shared by 10% of the guys in my high school class. We differentiated by using last name only. Friends would call me and ask for me bylast name only. My parents started doing so also and still do as a sign of endearment.
