As Sciz just pointed out in another thread, despite Gray's low salary he was unclaimed on waivers, so it doesn't look like other teams were fighting over each other to claim him.

I agree that Gray's reputation shouldn't be disparaged without any proof; we've had enough of that this off season. I liked him as a player and am surprised that he was cut. I'd love to see him come back, since he plays hard.
