Don't forget Tre McBride.
And of course my guy RJ Harris get's another mention, although it comes with a negative connotation to David Givens. I was going to compare him to Hines Ward, but I thought that may be a bit much.:)

I remember Givens frequently running the wrong routes. I was at the Pats -Skins game in DC when we lost our last game before going on the record unbeaten streak. Two Brady interceptions were to spots where Givens was supposed to be. I agree Givens was tough, but I have a negative association with him that you might not have. Of course the Titans have millions of reasons to have negative associations with Givens.
Yes, my memories of him differ. I more associate him with scoring 7 TD's in 8 playoff games and being a prominent factor on the SB 38&39 winning squads.

So so far we have Tre Mcbride
Dezmon Lewis
Marquez Wilson
Randy Moss
Brian Quick
Michael Floyd
Kenbrell Thompkins
Brice Butler
Terrance Williams
Mentioned as possible targets, am i missing anyone?

And board speculation that one or both of Chandler Jones or Nate Solder could be available for trade.

This is why we love roster moves fun and intrigue lets see if anything at all happens.

Wasn't that like his 4th career start? Tough crowd

Unrealistic target: Marvin Jones

The guy I am surprised no one has brought up is Chris Givens with the Rams - he had a big season a few years back, but now is behind guys like Tavon Austin, Quick, Britt, etc.

I think he could be had for a 6th rounder and would fill in for LaFell until he is healed. Givens, while not the biggest guy has legit speed. Thoughts on him?

hmmmm... anyone heard of Marquess Wilson?

One name I may see is Bears WR Marquess Wilson. 7th round pick, second to last year on his deal, 6'4", 22 years old, no real NFL production.

Adam Bogdan ‏@PatriotsInform 54m54 minutes ago
The Bears were high on him but he's been injured and has fallen out of favor it would seem. I think a reasonable 5/6th round pick may do it.

Well this is interesting: Wilson had one of the top 3 cone drills of his combine WR class at 6.65s, ran a 4.51 40, and a 34.5" vertical.

Adam Bogdan ‏@PatriotsInform 49m49 minutes ago
Belichick values the 3 cone drill above all else at the combine. So maybe this would be a good match. They do need DL help. Traded w/them b4

He was beautiful to watch at Washington State. So smooooth! Had some problems with drops but watching him was like watching melted luxurious chocolate being poured into a crystal champagne flute. Had him in my final mock that year (it came down to him and Josh Boyce ironically) but I fell in love when watching Wilson play so went with the heart. I'm all for a Marquess Wilson trade.

His name was already pretty prominent in this thread Manx. I doubt anyone who's read thru these 4 pages + has overlooked him buddy. ;)

But bear in mind that when @ChrisR2223 compiled a list, he had McBride first. It's like politics - if you want to make your case, repeat, repeat, repeat. :)

I'd sell my Mum to get a healthy Marvin Jones.

....and representing Josh Gordon's appeal is Jeffery Kessler.

A 7.9 on the Richter Scale rocks 345 Park Ave as they shudder with fear.

The Traveler has Come.

Gordon's suspension is absurd. He had a drink on the plane when he thought his season was over.

That will cost him a year of his maybe 14-year career.

I was down on Gordon until I read his letter. I see no chance he comes to NE, but I hope the judge shoves his suspension up Go-to-hells ugly ass.

That is the point. Not that I think he could be had but this is the only time you could get someone like him for a reasonable price. He will probably only last 3-4 more years but that coincides nicely with Brady IMO.

You think Chandler Jones is a reasonable price? Yikes.

Didn't he outrun some WR's there?

I know he caught some passes from Brady but don't recall anything about him out running some wrs. Doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Not sure I buy the interest rumour. Presuming the interest is there due to LaFell being out ..... is it realistic to expect any new WR will be able to pick the offense up, gain Brady's trust and contribute before Lafell gets back? Based on what history has shown us, I would think not.

I sense some deep-seeded issues with this comment. I'm guessing I wouldn't find manxmansmom listed among the registered users. :)

I love my Mum. I just love Marvin Jones more

One thing I don't do is criticise BB post draft if he doesn't pick guys I like. Jones is my one exception. I always thought he'd make a perfect WR for TB and our system.
