Awesome article!

Deflate-gate was a case born of ignorance and lost through arrogance.

"It's called disclosure of evidence."

LMAO

Thanks for the great read....Unfortunately intelligence is still a rare trait amongst human beings. For those lacking, they will never understand the truth here. Public perception will never change because theres simply too many dumb people out there. They're everywhere.

(Let's a take a second here to note that the NFL lost a case in which it was outraged over Brady's supposed lack of cooperation and unwillingness to hand over evidence, in part because it was uncooperative and unwilling to hand over evidence. Seriously.)

Good point

Am I the only one who thinks Lena Headey will play Goodell in the 2016 summer blockbuster PSI THE DEVASTATION OF ROG?

Thank god they can't get in here.

"...they didn't teach ya that in law school either?!"

That is the irony of the whole federal case is that in the Goodell appeal hearing the NFL did the same exact thing that they lowered the hammer on Brady. The difference is they figured that no one would ever know that because Brady and the NFLPA had to sign a confidentiality agreement.

This is an excellent article! A "must read" for Pats fans and excellent ammo to fire at those who cry "cheaters" every time you talk to them.

Even if Goodell went to law school (which he didn't) believes that the NFL rules revolves around his opinion rather than precedent and the CBA.

You're under a crazy assumption that the person you're arguing with would actually take the time to read it ;)

AWESOME read!!

Among the many fantastic lasers that blows away the NFL* and it's stupidity:

-------------
"...belief...New England was running a scheme and the NFL gumshoes would prove it.

Only once they learned otherwise, once they found out that a ball can, quite naturally, be measured at 11.5, or that protocol after that game had two pumps with varying measurements that made the entire experiment worthless, or noted that no one ever cared about ball inflation levels before this and the rulebook was indifferent, or thought hard after none of the equipment guys cracked, or when no firm evidence was uncovered, or when there was nothing tying Brady to the possible deflations that night, they should've backed down."
---------
"From the start, almost anyone who was paying attention, anyone who was reading through all the documents and considering all the actions of the league, saw the duplicity involved here was astounding."
---------
"Brady's appeal hearing with the NFL had been a complete farce, so outrageous that Goodell himself misrepresented Brady's own testimony in his decision, finding him guilty of something he never even said. Comparative punishments were invented, levels of guilt shifted, basic fairness was trampled upon."
--------
With Berman involved, the NFL was no longer able to seal testimony or control the narrative.

------------

The league first decided there was a scandal when there may not have been, then determined there was guilt in said scandal when there may not have been and then worked backward by any means necessary until that work caused a judge to call out the league.

---------

Wish he also writes a detailed one with timelines that can speculate on:

SECTION 1
- how this 'sting' operation was set up that led to Kensil's famous declaration on the field,
- the first 'news' of the psi levels
- NFL* official letter that accused the Patriots of a low PSI #
- the well-timed announcements and opinions in leading media outlets
- the direction to suspend the Pats employees
- the pleas from the Pats FO to the NFL* requesting for the correct data and not getting them

The above will clearly show how the NFL* purposefully stoked a powerful and poisonous atmosphere and instigated the brainless media into creating a tsunami of mind boggling accusations based on false data and dishonest intentions.

Brilliant though shameful and despicable move.

And people wonder - and hence suspect - why TB appeared uncomfortable and rattled in live interviews when accused with such false information touted as 'facts'?

SECTION 2:
With the above as the background, the article can then tie out the time line:

- when Wells asked for TB's phone, TB's responses, Wells' acknowledgement,
- when iphone 6 was released
- the hearing that led Goodell to conclude TB ran a 'scheme' and that TB destroyed his phone

A good % of the headline reading public think TB destroyed the phone - ergo, he is guilty.

The above + background of TB's (and other celebrities) habit of destroying their old phone might give the context.

Haters will continue to hate, but national columns like these might reduce the smear on our name.

You're under a crazy assumption that the person you're arguing with would actually take the time to read it ;)
Or that he/she possesses the ability TO read
