"I think Goodell should have had Brady hacked to death with a machete instead." /waits 15 minutes "Just kidding." #bostonsportsradiojokes

This guy is a sports writer in NY. Talk about a lack of professionalism.

I think he's lampooning Kirk Minihane who joked on TV the other night that the Krafts could have Goodell murdered if they wanted. Not excusing Hubbach, but at least it's not as random as it appears.

Mad Dog Russo is on WEEI and feels Judge Berman did a horrible job with his decision although he has not read the decision and since he was off yesterday doesn't know the details of the decision.

Well, when "the Mad Dog" gives his legal opinion on something, you obviously have to take it seriously.

Minihane is a TV and radio talk show host. His job is to say stupid crap like this. As a sports writer, Hubbuch needs to maintain a certain level of professionalism. Whether he is mocking Minihane or making a joke himself, it is still stupid. And if you look at his twitter feed, all he is doing in trolling Patriots fans. He like Greg Doyel, lack the professionalism for the jobs they do.

Granted Hubbuch is a writer for one of the NY rags. So lack of professionalism may be welcomed by his employers.

Chris "Find a Fall Guy" Carter on Mike & Mike this morning (I was channel surfing when I heard this one, and then quickly moved on- honest).

"Well it might have been different if Wells had been more thorough in his investigation....."

Pandering to the know-they-are-guilty-but-dont-have-any-evidence crowd, and member of the doubling-down-on-stupid fraternity.
I went there specifically to here what greenberg and golic had to say, instead i saw carters face. I didn't wast another second changing the channel.

Fair points.

As an aside, with how often you posted fake Lester Munson quotes, I actually wasn't sure if this Hubbach quote was real at first. You've become the embodiment of Poe's Law on this board :D

Mad dog, running neck and neck with shannon sharp to be the dumbest man on the planet.

I think the NY Daily News is more pro-Brady on this. Gary Myers says this whole scandal was about nothing. ON the front page it has Brady KO'ing Goodell in a boxing ring.

Even New Yorker's know that the Post is total joke. It's about as well regarded as the National Inquirer even in NY. The only people who take it seriously are the mentally disturbed people you see talking to themselves on the streets of NYC.
Then those are exactly the type of people you shouldn't be telling,

If anyone still thinks that the Patriots did something just remind them that:

The NFL created this entire fiasco by lying to Chris Mortensen about the deflation level in balls. They intentionally kept the false information from the public for months. Dean Blandino even lied about having warnings from the Colts before the game.

For months the NFL told us that Ted Wells ran an "independent" investigation only to have them renege on that position when they went before a Federal judge. They with held information in the form of interview notes and prevented Brady's team from interviewing people key to the investigation in an effort to defend himself. Ironically, these are the same points the NFL pointed to in forming their opinions on Brady.

Most importantly the NFL commissioner was caught in a blatant lie in forming his denial of Brady's appeal. I can't believe that this hasn't been highlighted more because it can't be stated enough. The commissioner outright lied about Brady's testimony regarding communications with JJ and they only surfaced because the a federal judge forced them to release the transcripts.

Now a federal judge has ruled that the NFL was essentially ran a kangaroo court and ran an unfair process. Some idiots will argue that Judge Berman didn't vindicate Brady on his role in a deflate scheme, but that is a false narrative. The judge wasn't allow those facts due to previous legal precedent. Any sort of attack of those facts would have made his ruling susceptible to appeal. But that didn't stop the judge from little subtle hints where is thoughts were on the subject like when he highlighted the statement from Exponent that they couldn't definitively say that the balls were deflated by anything other than the ideal gas law.

So in the end we have an organization that repeatedly lied, withheld evidence and has now been reprimanded by several federal judges and independent arbitrators as running unfair practices and these are the people they are going to believe? Seriously, tell them to wake the **** up.

The Post is the National Enquirer of the NY tabloids. The Daily News is not the Times, but it not nearly as sensational and dumbed down as the Post. The Post will always go for the lowest common denominator and that is moronic Jets fans looking for blood.

I turned on Mike & Mike this morning....

I also turned on Mike & Mike this morning, heard Chris Carter's voice, and I immediately found the off button. I don't know what he had to say and don't care. He knows less about this case than 99% of the posters here and his opinions are regularly worthless.

Not sure where to put this. I don't think Arthur Blank's comments were "stupid" as they were well-thought out. However it is clear that at least publicly, he is still drinking the Goody Kool-Aide and and for that, he is stupid.

He talked about how they need to change discipline policies, work with the NFLPA better and stop the litigation conveyor belt. Similar things that JK said last week.

It's the same all over. I was listening to a Buffalo radio station on my way home yesterday (They do Bills talk, it's great comic relief), and both hosts were all Brady is guilty he should still have gotten suspended, he got off on a technicality because Goodell is incompetent.
That was the only truth they stated, "Goodell is incompetent"

This has to be the dumbest reaction.

Lawrence Tynes is saying on Twitter that if Goodell wanted to defeat Brady he should have brought in the Giants. Stupid loser doesn't have a job anymore and he's talking trash.

Owners can easily put this issue to bed ... call off the appeal and then....

Call for a complete investigation of the NFL office side of deflategate

... would be a great PR move for the league.

I turned on Mike & Mike this morning. Interested to see what the CW would be. They had Bob Ryan on, and the first thing I heard him say was, "if this was any other team, they would have gotten a phone call from the league office the following day saying make sure you don't mess with the footballs, and then they would have gone to lunch."

And I thought, right on Bob, well said. Then he continued, "...but the Patriots are treated differently, and for good reason."

And that was all I needed. Off it went, god deliver me from the legions of morons in the world. Go out to pasture, Bob. What a joke.

Bob Ryan hates the Pats because he used to be king of the hill when the Celtics were the biggest fall/winter team in this town. He has become irrelevant since this has become a Patriots town and the Celtics went on a 15 year long slump.

He is worse than the national haters because he pretends to be a Boston homer and that the national people can bring on to show that even the "fair and balanced" Boston media think the Patriots are cheaters. But he is as big of a Patriots hater as Mark Brunnell.

New York Post? Chicago Tribune? L.A. Times?

lol, talk about an "inferiority complex." It's no coincidence that these regions are almost non-factors when it comes to competitiveness in the NFL. So instead of accusing Brady of guilt on circumstantial evidence, they should be criticizing the coaches and owners that run their teams

Losers

I think he was just trying to be funny...but yeah, it's kinda of a lame thing to say, considering that his team can't even make the playoffs!
