Jonathan Kraft: Patriots will pursue reinstating Jast and McNally

I don't see how the Patriots have a shot when they admitted to adhering to the Wells report.
The best scenario: Patriots ask NFL, NFL says no
Jast and McNally both separately sue for defamation (Jonathon should personally pay laywers fees cause Bobby aint doing it)
Internal NFL and Wells report communications get released
Whole thing is proven (to those who still don't believe) investigation was a sham, scientific evidence was a sham, etc.

Jast and McNally win
Bobby finally sacks up and asks for his draft pick back, NFL has no legit reason left ot leave the punishment intact.

Only way punishment is going away is if internal nfl communications come out, and if Wells report communications/notes come out -- only way that's happening is a defamation suit

That's what Im hoping for now, show the world what a sham this whole thing was

Hey, Jonathan! Why don't you and your father just "pursue" selling the team so we don't have to worry about your selling it down the river again.

Thanks, though, for the memories. Great decision to hire Belichick! You deserve credit for that. And, for not interfering with his decision to draft Tom Brady. You get full props for that!

But, let's face it, Jonathan, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady could have made Woody Johnson or Dan Snyder look good, so don't try to blow too much smoke in our eyes with the four banners.

It's time to cash out and move on.

EDIT: it's been politely suggested :) that the above is a bit over the top...and, maybe, after a couple of pops celebrating today's ruling, that charge isn't completely out of line. ;) But, let's never forget who made this happen and let's always remember that the Krafts are part of "the 32" and always hold their feet to the fire. Management. Labor. Labor plays the game.

Man, as much as I think Bob sold out, this post is crazy.

OK...maybe I was a tad "exuberant" after celebrating the victory today, but let's not forget who made all of this happen.

Just said on his live interview during the pregame. Said that the NFL forced their hand with their firing and that they will now talk about how to get them back.

Both need to be on the field Thursday Night ------ Vincent's letter is meaningless......

The Patriots should hire them back and the ball is then in the NFL's court to make a decision. Popcorn anyone?"

Under what legal agreement does the NFL dictate hiring or not hiring of specific personnel? Do the teams really grant that authority to the League?

The NFL denied that they directed the pats to suspend them, which led to MEDIOTs saying 'they must have done something wrong or else why did pats suspend them.'

JK's quote seems to imply that the Pats have message traffic from the NYJFL on this that hasn't seen the light of day yet. Otherwise they would/could just reinstate and be done. Why else say "pursue"?

Exposing that traffic in the process of 'REQUESTING REINSTATEMENT' is like the drip drip of water torture on roger (I hope). Hopefully national mediots will pick up on this one more lie, every bit could help tilt the balance..

.....think I need a sig: "Fire the clown!" With appropriate image.

There was a stupid post about non existent preseason football panic last week, but I think this post surpasses it in stupidity. Good job!

Adam Shefter reported months ago that the suspension was essentially from the NFL. I believe the Patriots confirmed that. I also think that the suspension was continued when the Wells Report came out.

Are you surprised that the NFL lied? That's business as usual for them.

F--- the NFL........ Don't "pursue" anything Jonathan........ Just hire em' back. Do the right thing.

Not surprised, just saying it is a lie that hasn't been WELL exposed and that every lie exposed is one more log on the fire of 'the Ommissioner violated the integrity clause of his job description'........fired!

They need Troy Vincent's approval first, he literally cannot hire them back without it because they were forced to be suspended by the nfl

Call their bluff.....Poke them in the eye and do what you want......
Put out a press release announcing the end of the suspension. Leave one of them sing the national anthem if they have the pipes.....
When the NFL calls to complain, tell them to call Kessler and leave you the f alone.......Only THIS time, don't back down.

I Love this. Chip, chip, chip away at the NFL house of cards, even if just said as a PR move. Its now on the record and part of the optics.

That reminds me:
  • The NFL forced the Pats to suspend the guys.
  • The NFL is lying and saying they didn't.
  • Based on the NFL's lie, haters are saying the suspensions are admissions of (or at least strong evidence for) guilt.
  • Along with any other motivations, JK probably is out to disprove the theory that the Pats voluntarily suspended the guys.

What the simple minded and haters don't understand is, this whole Employee suspension thing really shows how good the patriots are as employers.

Answer me this haters, was there a single instance or even a rumor of either of these employees wanting to snitch on the pats? Not even their family or friends spoke as "sources" to tmz or some crap tabloid about how disgruntled they are.

NFL suspended them. Pats probably told them, they had their backs and let it play out.

And that is why I refuse to label them, even in jest, as Dorito Dinks. They stood fast and kept quiet.

Haters suggested this is because the guys were paid well to disappear.

The Krafts' attempts to get them reinvolved with the team shows just how wrong that theory was.
