curran implies people were worried about tom's mental state for the last few months. Even kraft acknowledges how big this was on him

http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story...tatic-tom-brady-seek-recoup-draft-picks-money

"Kraft said he spoke with Brady on Thursday and that, although Brady was happy, the entire situation has been a strain on him and the organization.

"No matter how strong you are mentally, when you have that going on, it takes away, so I think there was some relief but mostly happiness," Kraft said of Brady. "He's just really excited, and he's excited that he's going to be on the field Thursday night where he absolutely belongs."

I think we forget when people say how tiring this news has been that how much it must be for Brady and his family.

It saddens me to hear the concern for him mentally and I'm sure emotionally. It must've been a brutal offseason for him. Although this whole thing is bound to drag on I truly think the worst is over and much of the damage has been mitigated...to an extent. I think the ruling and getting back on the field for a full season will be helpful to him. Imagine if the Judge ruled against him and there was another "Judge agrees Brady is a cheater!" onslaught...

Best of luck to TB12 off the field, hope things improve. He is a great person and obviously has the regions overwhelming support.

As much as the negative feelings we as fans have felt the last 8 months, I can't imagine how magnified it must have felt for Brady. As much joy this day has brought, I hope the positive emotions are that much stronger for him. Tom's dad's emotions speak volumes.

I have been in toxic situations - nothing like Brady.

You can tell yourself a million times you are NOT $#1t, but when you here it a million times from a million people, you can't help but to be affected by it.

I've been in a bad situation before myself, and I know how overwhelming that 'dark cloud' can be when it's lingering over you for months. I've also been vindicated much like Brady (though obviously a very different situation), and today he's probably doing backflips in his mansion.

With that said, I hope we see a 16 game 'F-U tour' this year running up scores like they did in 2007.

I feel for Brady with this emotional rollercoaster he's been on for 8 months. This must seem like the continuation of one epically long season. It was already a truncated offseason with him playing into February and the obligations that go with the Superbowl, and then no time to really relax with this legal tangle to obsess over. Brady is a worrier and perfectionist of the highest order and the uncertainty must have been torture for him. He's already alluded sarcastically to what a terrible offseason this year has been. Now, he's had a high again with the legal victory, but can't really process the relief because he's got to launch back into preparation for the Steelers.

Depending on your age, everyone in their lives at one point or another has had personal, financial, legal, health and work issues. However you cope with it, they impact you at some level. You are not human if they don't.

While I categorically dismiss the US Magazine crap about Gisele talking to divorce lawyers, I'm pretty sure that they have had some moments of raw emotion and pent up frustration just releasing on each other. They are not robots. They are a regular married couple who want what is best for their relationship and children and this kind of stress, strain and pressure ain't it. I don't believe it for a second she was looking for a way out. Not one bit. My impression is that Gisele is not the type of person who runs from a problem nor would she be disloyal and abandon her man when hes facing the challenge of his life. I don't know how they communicate as a couple but with the stress level in that house, they must have been walking on eggshells every now and then around each other and the air was thick as soup for a little bit. Anybody who has been married for a while knows exactly what I'm talking about.

It sounds like TB12 has a great relationship with his dad. I'm sure he has spent many a days and nights on the phone with him just emptying his brain on TB Sr. and he was there to help, listen and offer advice when he could. He sounded very emotional talking to Curran. I bet he felt every knife that Goody was twisting into his son. For those of you who are parents know exactly what I'm talking about. You feel you children's pain and whats worse is that there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

The other person who can relate is BB. Hes been kicked, stomped on, stabbed and shot by Der Fuher as well. His good name disparaged and damaged by him. BB didn't win his battles with Goody but I'll bet my bottom dollar he - for many reasons did major fist-pumping yesterday. I don't know how close they are but the mutual respect has to run deep to the bone. I'm sure he knew how this was affecting Tom. My understanding is that like a loyal soldier Tom was there to work last night and BB told him not to even dress, gave him the night off, kicked him out and told him to go home (I heard that he left the stadium) and be with his family.

Enough of this Dr Phil crap....Time for the season to start and defend the wall!

I can only imagine . . . robweathers pretty much covers the topic on this one. Good post OP and rob. I'm just glad he is back where he wants to be and where he belongs. We're everyone's worst enemy this year . . .

Fixed your post for you

When my first child was born, he had issues (he's fine now). He was in Boston Children's for the first 4 months of his life (can't say enough good things about them and the nurses there). My wife and I went on automatic pilot for that time. On more than one occasion, my boy stopped breathing while in my arms and had to be resuscitated while I stood helplessly praying they could bring him back. In fact, there was more than one time I was running through the halls to find a nurse with his lifeless body screaming help. When I finally let my emotions out after several months, there was such a deep emotional outpouring, I remember sitting outside the hospital and whaling with such deep emotion, I though I was broken because I couldn't stop. I can imagine what' it's been like for him these last 7 months to have your life ripped up like this. I'm sure it's been tough on his family, marriage, and everyone else. I'm sure the outpouring of emotion is draining and will take time to recover.

Sorry to be the gossip monger but for those of you concerned about the Brady-Bunchden's here's Gisele yesterday. Check out the name on the door behind her. I guess she could have been bringing him his belongings but...Screen Shot 2015-09-04 at 10.08.34 AM.png

I gave you a winner on this post because it was the only tag that seemed to remotely fit. I am glad that everything worked out for you and applaud your candor.
