Because they plan to carry only 2 QBs so no point risking garappolo. Especially since he played quite a bit in preseason with no 3rd QB.

This will be Travaris Cadet and Eric Martin's preseason debuts for the Patriots.

I hope Cadet is able to play tonight and make a case for himself being part of this team. I still feel he's one of the most talented plays on this roster right now.

It's actually quite the opposite for the final game of the pre-season. Cadet is gone if he gets plenty of reps, same with Dobson.

Wendell is also starting, which means he is good as gone- cut or traded.

Worse than Tebow?

I thought giving reps to Tebow was a missed opportunity to develop players with him in there, unless the point was to see how players react to having to play with such suckage.

I never do this but I am predicting it now. Flowers will become a starter on the patriots D Line by next year and he will have a productive nfl career. Guy is the goods as a pass rusher how did he drop to 4th round?
