Great summing up. I like the guy. Seems balanced on nearly everything.

I am still getting people say to me.. but the judge didn't say he didn't do it.

The only evidence that he did it came from a thoroughly discredited investigation and process that a judge has now ruled violated federal law.

There's no credible evidence that Brady cheated, so it's not on us to prove that he didn't.

He's a clown like the rest of em

Tell them to read the opinion. The judge pretty clearly says he didn't do it, or at least that it wasn't proved, without actually saying that. Here's an example, from page 7:

130. At the same time, the Wells Report acknowledged that "[o]ur scientific consultants
informed us that the data alone did not provide a basis for them to determine with absolute certainty whether there was or was uot tampering, as the analysis of such data is ultimately dependent upon assumptions and information that is uncertain."
Id. at 131 (emphasis added).

There was a line of questioning during the hearing where Berman asked the NFL if they had ANY direct evidence. The answer was no.

The haters think they are fighting a land war in Russia and that they can keep retreating to earlier fortifications (i.e. old disproven arguments).

Reasons I love the idea of the NFL appealing the ruling
  1. Keeps this in the press without a complete resolution
  2. (I stated this awhile ago) Time is Brady's ally. The longer this goes on, the more favorable it is to Brady's case as more will come out -- and the NFL* has a cache of skeletons on this issue alone
  3. the more that comes out, the better it looks for Brady (eventually even the misplaced hatred will be turned upon the League)
  4. it's quite possible this isn't over yet, Brady and JJ/McNally can still strike.

Berman based his decision on PROCEDURE, NOT
the evidence. Closes out an appeal on OPINION. Berman did it right.
But then again I may be wrong as I'm not a lawyer. ..................? JMO

Liked how Gottlieb says something along the lines of "there was no smoking gun, not sure if there was even a gun". The league's evidence wasn't a "mountain of evidence, not even a molehill of evidence".

It was totaly unnecessary for Berman to put that in there. He also referenced Brady's second half performance in the Indy game which again was totally unnecessary. He made his feelings on the evidence clear.
