Bill Polian on Sirius XM:

I can't say I was surprised, given what was transpiring in the court....

...found a way, flimsy though it may be, to rule that way.

I don't think Ian even has to do a MySQL query to find this out.

Has any member at PF received more winner clicks on either a single thread or single day than Rob0729?

At 49 and counting, it's probably a record.

50. Your post made me realize I never rated him, went back. Thx.

I believe Kraft is concerned with damaging the NFL brand.

How could it be any more damaged than the revelation that that the upper management of the league is so rigged against one team that they are willing to gin up a fake infraction, take draft picks, and intentionally leak false information to damage the reputation of the team and its players to the maximum possible extent?

WWE is not as rigged as the NFL.

Unfortunately the rest of the world doesn't see it that way. They see the cheatriots getting away with it again. I'm beggining to come down on Ken's side that the nfl appeal is good for Tom, it will put a spotlight on how crooked this whole opperation was from the beginning. The longer this stays in the spotlight the better.

So flimsy right? I mean he only vacated on like 3 or 4 counts. A more solid order to vacate would have had, like, 37 counts.

I hope it is! I love the reaction in New England today. Pure joy.
A friend who was never a fan of football and who has lived in AZ for the past 5 years just sent me an email of pure joy and excitement. Her take is that Brady 's been vindicated. That's the way I look on it too. yahooooooooooooo!!! But apparently, at last at long last Herr Commissioner doesn't have the grace to recognize when he has been beaten.

HAHAHAHHAHAAHHAH STILL THIS PUMPED

the appellate judges will not allow for more discovery. whatver the record they have before them is the record they will work with.

It may be an overstatement to say the NFL is essentially the same as the WWE, but it is getting there.

Cooking up manufactured, false drama and crises (CHECK)

An over-the-top buffoon for a Commissioner (CHECK)

Management that caters to the lowest-common-denominator (CHECK)

Management rigging (or attempting to rig, via loss of draft picks, etc.) the outcome of matches (CHECK)

Complete lack of self-awareness (CHECK)

I rest my case. :D

Wilbon ripping people at ESPN although not by name calling them stupid for regurgitating the idea that this investigation was independent .

Whats he saying?

At least we know the "slippery Patriots" narrative will remain alive and well at ESPN.

hypothetical statement: "we all know there was a lot going on with Belichick and the Patriots, it's just a shame they were able to obscure the League's investigation and get away with it again and again."

Let's hope the owners bring McMahon in to announce their decision to Goodlol

I wasn't thinking anything new will come out, but the longer this has dragged on it seems like the more people are coming to their senses. So I figure if it stays in the news even more folks will see the light based on the ample evidence that is already out there. Wishful thinking? Maybe.
