Was Schelerth on our side before?

Bruschi and Schefter also did the same, I fully expected Bruschi, but the rest are surprises. ESPN will quickly issue apologies to the NFL for these attacks.

Was Schelerth on our side before?

Yes. But other guys on ESPN has flipped sides. I saw a prerecorded piece with Trey Wingo saying that this whole thing was a nothing story made into a huge case after months of him backing up Huey and Duey (Brunnell and Bettis) and their smear campaign on Brady and the Pats.

Why are you watching BSPN????

ESPN has been downright entertaining today. Just like they held back all of the pro-Patriots voices and spotlighted dipshits like Brunell and Carter when the Wells Report came out, they're doing the opposite today. Schefter's pretty much running the show right now, and he's thrashing the NFL.

This is pretty much what ESPN does. For the most part they aren't requiring their contributors to change their opinions. They're just happening to select the contributors who already believe the convenient narrative that makes ESPN look right. For example, they've had a lot of legal analysts on today. For some really weird reason, Lester Munson has not been one of them.

Yeah Schlereth has been a voice of reason on deflate gate. Doesn't proclaim innocence of Tom but it might have been him who said this whole thing is basically the equivalent of Brady driving 70 mph in a 65 speed limit and getting thrown in jail for a year over it. Been slamming the NFL over it.

He knows a thing or two about equipment violations. If it wasn't piss in his pants it was Vaseline on the jersey.

That's a well known story that Shlereth proudly tells himself about using Vaseline to make it difficult for DLmen to grab jerseys. He claim their entire OL did it during an AFCCG. It's amazing that he doesn't see the hypocrisy of his stance on cameraplacement gate.

He also has a very selective memory when it comes to the multiple times Denver was caught and punished so they could keep key personnel by illegally manipulating the cap. during their Superbowl run. IIRC, he was also a "union rep" when he was in the league, so he has always been predisposed the NFLPA position, but not because he feels Brady is innocent, but rather his distaste for Roger's power.

In the meantime, let's them all ignore Brady's (and the Pats') innocence in this, while we continue the grand tradition over at ESPN and pile on the guy who's down, while we continue to ignore the truth.

Bruschi and Schlereth are having a nice back-and-forth about the GFY Tour of 2007. Bruschi's describing how, post-Spygate, the Pats were incredibly fired up and motivated to embarrass everyone they played because they knew what was being said about them. He talked about times when they were up 35-3 in the 4th quarter and all the starters were on the sideline yelling at the coaches to put them back in so they could score more and further make their point.

Gave me goose bumps. Want to see it again.

The formula is so simple....hero vs villain. For the past 7 months Brady and NE were the villians. Today, ESPN has a new villian......but it won't last given the NFL/ESPN marriage of mutual interest. No way ESPN will allow former players to continue to beat Rodger into the ground beyond this news cycle. BSPN probably is patting themselves on their backs congratulating each other how fair and balanced they are. LMFAO

We just need the Jets to cut Revis, or the Seahawks to cut Sherman...

In my attempts to be thankful, I'm thankful they are allowing some pro-patriot discussion to happen.

See this would have been the sarcastic version of me, glad I'm slowly evolving :D.

and if they are going to have Goodell on camera, can he get a trainer to make sure he has a defined neck? That whole chin to collar bone turkey neck isn't a good sight.
