The NFL has a little to no chance to win on appeal. the 2nd circuit overturns only seven of appeals brought to them and this will not be a high priority for them

Lester Munson disagrees. He also disagrees that it gets dark at night and cats meow.

No, it's not impossible. The CA2 panel could rule that notice actually was given or that notice was not required.
Just think a second about what you just said. I mean really think about it. If notice WAS actually given, don't you think either Nash, Kessler, Berman or the dozens of lawyers who work for them, would have noticed by this point.

And as to the issue that notice might not be required? Hello, Hellllloooooo! Anyone home? We know for a FACT that it's required because it's in the law AND Berman made it the linchpin of his decision. Its the one issue, it seems, that will make his decision bulletproof on appeal. (at least so say the "legal experts")

You know QM, when you think about the ENORMITY of the well documented deprivations, misinformation and lies Goodell and his cronies heaped on Brady and the Pats; it's almost ironic that it's the relatively small error of not giving Brady notice that will seal their doom in appeals. It won't be about the lack of evidence that anything happened. It won be about their duplicitous manipulation of the evidence in the Welles Report, and it won't be about the manipulation of the media, the lies, and innuendos of the media attack that continues today. It will be about the "lack of notice" that will sink their ship.

It has to make you think twice about a legal system that will ignore the truth, justice, and fairness, but will decide important cases based on the vagueories of the "small print" of the law.

You know... I kinda wanted to see Jimmy G tho. I really thought he would take us to 3-1. Would have been pretty cool for him

His time will come....for now, I'm happy just to see Brady get the justice he deserves

Brady's theme song for this season! Someone make a video with this song!!

The only thing that could make today better would be an all star whiner panel,

Polian, Brunell, Carter, Tomlinson, Marshall Faulk, Sharpe. With Munson as their legal analyst.
:D

Congrats Pats fans. Broncos fan here and I believe justice (common sense) was served. The NFL's stance was atrociously biased and lacked any legal/scientific sustenance. However, those saying that this is an "indictment" against Goodell I believe are wrong. The general consensus around the NFL (at least with owners) was Brady should be punished. This way Goodell does not take any blame from his employers and can say he did everything he could to protect integrity of game. For me it shows that Goodell lacks moral integrity/ethics and is afraid to stand up for what is right.

Shows that a bunch of billionaires have the commitment to objectivity of a bunch of 8th-graders, or that they are ignorant of 8th-grade science. Or, of course, both ...

"But, but, but deflated footballs!!!"

"Spygate!!!! Taping Super Bowl practices!!!!"

"Cheaters! Bunch of cheaters!!!!"

HAHAHAHAHAHA GIVE ME ALL THE TEARS!!!!!!

ALL OF THEM!!!!

You'd have earned a "winner" from me if you'd used "CHEATRIOTS". It has that added dash of stupidity in wordplay sold as being clever.

Whether you believe Goodell's just a puppet (damaged goods) or the point man for all this nonsense (bad man), the Ommissioner has got to go.

Hey does everyone remember when the nfl won the right to have it heard in NY, and all this analyst were saying a huge blow to Brady? LMAO

Ego turns almost anyone stupid, and if there's one thing "the 32" have a metric ****load of, it's ego. More ego than money, even.

The funny thing is, they might have been right. Winning this case in front of Doty would've been a walk in the park.

But the NFL's case was such garbage that they still lost, and screwed themselves over in a huge way in the process.
