Kraft still sucking up to Goodell

I hope those who supported Kraft after his statement after the appeal will finally see what Kraft really is. He's a scumbag and will always be a scumbag. Don't fall for it again people. Stop cheering for him.

It was rumored that Brutus was smiling when he plunged the knife into Caesar, too.

Hold your counsel until the knife and occasion is well prepared. Sun Tsu says, "Every battle is won before it is fought."

That was my take..

Mike Reiss, however, believes that Kraft's statement shows anger at Goodell for allowing the lawyers (Pash and Nash) to dictate the punishment..
Yea I just read that. It makes total sense. Good leaders do not let their underlings govern them.

Bob also needs to be careful not to bash Goody publicly. He has 31 other idiots who are blindly loyal to the idiot to deal with.

I want them picks back! Fight hard man. Once the cold weather games come, the NFL will no longer be able to deny the changes in PSI due to cold. It's not too late to give them back!

Honestly, this fanbase's treatement of Kraft throughout this whole thing, despite our not having the full picture, has been one big ****ing embarrassing misplacement of rage.

The avenues Kraft had available for him are few and far between and there was a real cost to failure both in terms of dollars and the cache he has with the league to effect positive change. He ****ed up big time supporting Goodell through the other farces but beyond that I can't find fault with what the guy has done.

Maybe I'm just not some spoiled ass **** who only started watching when Parcells came along because when I started watching I think I would have let an owner piss down my throat every day for 10 years if they were going to give us the sort of team and committment to winning that Kraft has built.

That you guys are ****ing pissed that he isn't calling Goodell names in public statements or something is asinine and more than a little childish.

Well, we already know that Goodell isn't a good leader.

As for the other 31 owners, we already know that there are some of them who are not happy with the entire situation. All the money spent on this comes out of their share of the divided revenue.. I can't imagine that the frugal teams (Arizona, Cleveland, Cincy, et al) are too happy about that.

When asked privately, how many of the other 31 owners really want pinhead Goody to appeal.

I bet that 3/4 want Goody to stand down. It's good business and these are businessmen. On the other hand they don't read a damn thing and have been spoon-fed propaganda by the NFL Office for 9 months.

i'm going to give you one of your favorite things a disagree. No one has been saying that kraft should be calling goodell names, he could have framed it in a way that included goodell as being involved. And ive been watching the pats for 41 years, so ive seen a lot, but i never thought id see BKraft capitulate after a couple of hours meeting with goodell and the owners, and leave his HOF QB out to dry.

Bob Kraft…. where is your apology that you demanded for?

Where are those draft picks you lost?
He was vocal before camp so the fans wouldnt boo him

Spineless piece of schmuck

Every Pats fan shoul shout coward when he appears and when he is shown on screen in stadium chant coward or boo him.

So unless he calls Goodell out by name he is sucking up or caving in? That's just not correct.

Read Reiss' take then reconsider.
Agree. I want Kraft to grow a set and roast goodell as much as the next guy but it's my understanding he is prohibited from openly criticize the commish in the league constitution so it's a pretty clever way of criticizing without criticizing.

I don't care about Kraft not naming Goodell, but I want him to get up on the podium again and demand an apology.

No it is not
See the post immediately before yours for the "clever" way

I agree with Reiss......a subtle denouncement of the Commissioner's effectiveness carrying out his duties. In other words.......Goodell's hand-off demonstrates the man is out of his depth.
Frankly, Goodell's direct questioning of Brady during the appeal indicated that Roger is slow to the draw

Not sure this statement matters that much, he's openly bashed the league already anyways. But, he does need to let Johnathan handle these matters from now on.
