Arbitration cases are rarely overturned in court. NFL arbitration cases are ALWAYS overturned in court. They are 0-5 in arbitration cases. The odds of something like that happening is like winning Powerball while being eaten by a shark that is being hit by lightening.

And the Appellate Court--and I cannot even believe that idiot who shall not be named is even going through with that--almost never overturns a federal judge's ruling. I believe the average rate of an overturn at the appeal level is 10%.

You know, I have re-examined my acceptance of the Sean Peyton suspension after this whole fiasco. I will no longer just accept the NFL's version of things through my rose-colored fan glasses when another team is put through this BS.
Saints and Pats fans are gate-bros (saw this on reddit)

RIGHT?! What a farcical, horsesh!t WASTE OF TIME!!!!

Seriously.

It's so sad, too. No fanbase should have this feeling over such a minor rule.

Yup!!

Notice was the most important of the 4 to vacate on for those exact reasons.

Man... I would literally pay $500 pay per view to see the tantrum that Goodell is throwing right now
The tantrums are probably being thrown by the underlings like Kensil, Vincent, Pash and Nash. Goodell and Wells are the highly paid grownups and have probably gone into full blown damage control mode.

absolute obvious stuff. Goodell is a ****ing scumbag who knew he had nothing on Brady. I hate the patriots like most people but what a ****ing joke this was. Anyone with a brain could read the documents and see the patriots were the only people providing hard science and not just making sweeping assumptions. Then to arbitrarily punish Brady was just another complete joke.

Remember Goodell and the NFL chose to file in NY to get this judge too. Their own guy just shat on them

I posted on another thread that I had a family breakfast on Sunday in DC with four lawyers, three of whom are litigators, one a labor lawyer (on Kessler's level) I asked them if a judge rips your case apart with his questioning, does it mean that you're going to win ( as some postulated)?
To a person, they laughed and said," no it means your case is sh*t and you're going to lose"
Exactly what happened...

So the NFL* works to avoid MN for court cases and thought they were safe in NY.

Where will they file next time in the hopes of avoiding Berman as well?

Bwahahahahaha

Bruschi just f'n kills it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE is dissatisfied, no one tampered with balls, Wells reported need to be examined.

Teddy is the F'n man! A CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this rant get on youtube.

This is about honor classic Bruschi!
That's it! I'm wearing my Bruschi jersey to Gillette next Thursday!!!

GoodLOL.

Good to know my hiatus on anything actually Football related (and not court!) can be over though.

NFL is so stupid it's amazing, especially to appeal.

You were wrong. You made a big f*****g mistake. You lost.

LET IT GO!

Extreme narcissists, which is what is crawling around the offices of park avenue, cannot let anything go that isn't in their favor.

Goodell, given his personality traits, is probably freaking the f*** out on anyone and everyone around him like a demented dictator.. one can dream anyways

He'd never say it, but I would love for someone to say, "I understand Judge Berman ruled on the process and while there are questions on the innocence of Tom Brady and the alleged deflation scandal, Tom Brady would welcome a "real" independent investigation to the NFLs actions and his actions and for that information to be made available via a public hearing."

Never happen, but why not challenge the NFL to let's get it all out in the open and transparent.

Goodell, given his personality traits, is probably freaking the f**k out on anyone and everyone around him like a demented dictator and I have an erection just thinking about it

Just shows the legacy this man has carved out for himself.

Kraft, while I wholeheartedly disagreed with his stance, tried to end this for the betterment of the league. The roles are now reversed and Goodell won't follow suit.

Petty, pathetic, sad, shallow and disgusting. Justice has been served.

The turning point of this whole game was when the nfl filed it in NY AND judge berman decided to make the transcripts public. Without that it would been even hard to turn some public opinion.

I agree. Once Goodell was exposed clearly as a liar with an agenda, he lost in the court of public opinion and the internet-sphere started exposing all the flaws that we knew about all along but which had been lost in the well-oiled NFL propaganda campaign that was dominating the discourse via ESPN and sycophant sportswriters whose access they control.

NFL can appeal all the way to Mars Supreme Court. Result won't change. This is not Garvey. All about fundamental fairness, not fact finding

The federal judges are on FIRE this summer. :) I see that anti-gay Kentucky clerk just got thrown into custody as well. They are killing it this year. Richard Berman needs a statue in Foxboro. It can't be overstated what he's done. He just single-handedly rescued Brady's and New England's legacy from forever being marked by this nonsensical railroading campaign.
