One disturbing note from Berman according to Judy Batista, Berman noted that Roger Goodell was deemed to be an impartial arbiter. First that kind of blows my mind, and I worry about what impact that tidbit might have in appeal.

Then off course since I haven't read the decision myself (and I doubt Judy did either), I love if someone more proactive will confirm or deny this surprising remark.

BTW- Judy did say this was the only positive for the NFL. The rest was totally in favor of the NFLPA

No Minnesota? No Doty?
No Case, no INTEGRITY, no fairness by the NFL*

No problem.
Fixed it for you :D.

I'm just getting back to being connected after being out all morning and will be catching up on all the juicy details.

ESPN has sent Munson into witness protection. I doubt we'll ever see or hear from him again...

Mort, Munson, and Cossack in the same room...

Graziano just roasted Goodell on ESPN.

"people keep asking why the NFLPA took this to court after agreeing to the process in the CBA. The judgment shows why: because Goodell is terrible at it." Something like that anyway, I'm paraphrasing.

Umm, the NFLPA didn't bring it to court, the NFL did.

Berman didn't say Goodell was fully impartial, he simply didn't find Goodell was "evidently partial".

"The Award is premised upon several significant legal deficiencies, including (A) inadequate notice to Brady of both his potential discipline (four game suspension) and his alleged misconduct; (B) denial of the opportunity for Brady to examine one of two lead investigators, namely NFL Executive Vice President and General Counsel Jeff Pash; and (C) denial of equal access to investigative files, including witness interview notes."

The only element that Berman did not "concur" with was the claims that Goodell was biased which could somewhat be construed as an "opinion". IMO that makes an appeal DOA.
