Yeah, I understand they sorta have a vested interest in being unfair, and they have to walk the line. I suspect the same thing is going on at BSPN….

I always wondered how these folks could consider themselves "journalists" when they get paid by the institution they cover, be it directly (NFLN) or indirectly (ESPN).

Why am I sitting here waiting for the other shoe to drop? Is there another shoe?

I've been wrong so often during this whole process, I can't believe it will just end in a Brady win without the NFL striking out!

So, counting down for the new leaks or punishments. Please, let it be over NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're on to Pittsburgh.

I'm still just so PISSED, and one quickie by Berman, doesn't make up for 8 months of blue balls (am I being too graphic? ;) ). I guess it amounts to not being willing to have Tom declared "not guilty". I want him declared INNOCENT. I want the Pats to be declared INNOCENT and it looks like I'm going to have to be more patient for that to happen

TOM BRADY IS INNOCENT

THE PATRIOTS ARE INNOCENT

Page 4:
Brady's passing performance during the game improved during the second half, after the footballs had been re-inflated. See Wells Report at 122 n.73 ("We were not asked by the NFL to investigate the potential competitive impact of the deflation of Patriots game balls and, therefore,

do not make any findings or reach any conclusions on that issue. Nevertheless, we note that Brady's performance in the second halfofthe AFC Championship Game- after the Patriots

game balls were re-inflated- improved compared to his performance in the first half. Specifically, in the first half, he completed II of21 passes for 95 yards and one touchdown, and in the second half, he completed 12 of 14 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.").
Essentially Wells was working for kessler ? :)

If they did Brady would get an injunction within 5 minutes and there would be a MASSIVE lawsuit against the league.

So I hope they try it.
yep, it would clearly be retaliation on the nfls part.

The local radio in the bay area is smashing goodell but unfortunately they all now say that pats get away once again . This crap keeps going on in the national media.

I hate to be a wet blanket, BUT, I'm currently watching the NFLN's reporting on the breaking news, and the 2 items that I'm not hearing is, "clearly Brady and the Pats didn't do anything in the first place", and "the League's malicious prosecution was one of the key reasons for the win."

Basically all I'm hearing is Rappaport telling us that this is all about the issues with the policies and procedure (Pash not being available) (files not being available) (no prior notice) etc. Others are talking about the importance of what it means to the NFLPA. But NO one has had the guts to just say that the Pats didn't do anything and its all coming out. So as of this moment its, "Breaking news, Brady beat the rap". Even in the Judge's comments he says that no player probably knew about any deflation, BUT he doesn't say its unlikely anything happened at all. In fact with the words I saw, he IMPLIES, that something actually did, but just Brady can't be proven to know about it.

Now maybe I'm being too invested in the concept that this has to go to a defamation case for the NFL to get fully exposed. This IS great news, but only as far as it goes. It solves the immediate problem, but not the long term one about Tom's legacy and the Pats as serial cheaters.

I really don't think that perception is ever going to change unfortunately. Spygate made sure of that. All the rest of the BS is just piling on.

Enjoy this for what it is. We as fans deserve it.

Graziano just roasted Goodell on ESPN.

"people keep asking why the NFLPA took this to court after agreeing to the process in the CBA. The judgment shows why: because Goodell is terrible at it." Something like that anyway, I'm paraphrasing.

@StephStradley: I agree. RT @CodfishJohnny: Basing decision on notice issue means not curable by remand. Believe this will hold on appeal. Well reasoned.

@StephStradley: .@timkawakami @DanWetzel FWIW, problems with #Deflategate were evident the minute Wells Report was released. "Generally aware" nonsense etc
