Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times is reporting the Patriots have invited former Buccaneers 2015 seventh round pick fullback Joey Isoefa to Foxboro on Thursday for a visit and workouts.

9th or 10th rated FB in the draft is like being rated the best toy in a Cracker Jack box.
.....and amazingly he was 1 of only 4 to be drafted. Which "expert" had him rated like that?
 
Watch the highlights. This kid runs hard and with bad intentions, has some burst and decent balance, runs it up the gut. Good goal line option, and also has good hands, can catch some passes like Develin.

This is great, but can he block?
 
Is he really worth using up a roster spot?

The Pats are probably just doing their due diligence and taking an up close and personal look at him.

Probably won't make the team, but be on speed dial if he's available later in the season and a need pops up.
