The Colts have made really nice improvements on offense. Luck had 40 TDs last year. No reason he can't push for 45+ this season. Plus their schedule is complete cake. They will go undefeated in their division and ultimately end up 12-4 or 13-3, which will be good enough for Luck to win MVP.

Entirely within the realm of possibility... he will feast on weaker teams and pad up his stats in the meantime. So I can clearly see this happening

I'd take Rodgers as the first pick. After that I'd take Rivers.

Home team deal. Made woody (rb) look like a stud...
**** line, and mediocre at best wrs...and he made em look good! Hell, swap Gates with Gronk...

Rivers will play on a bumb leg, go reference the lt game...

Luck needs his crack head owner to ***** at the NYJ head of league to make their excuse for being whooped 45-7...**** LUCK

Rodgers was off the options list, because he's an obvious 1/1a choice. He's the only QB I'd think about besides Luck, though.

As for Rivers, he'll be 34 in December, he has a 4-5 record in the playoffs, and he's only guided the Chargers to double digit win seasons in 3 of 9 seasons as the starter. I like Rivers, but I'll take the potential extra 8 years and the upside of Luck.

I'll grant you that...still doesn't change the fact that his team is run by petty, bitter, resentful douchebags who care more about checking PSI levels at halftime, than they do about putting up a fight on the field.

And I can't get over the fact that the Colts intentionally lost games in order to draft Luck. I mean, that's about as low as you can go.

No matter how talented Andrew Luck is, I'll never be able to separate him from the organization he works for. If you work for assholes...then you'll get treated like one. End of story.

That and he's Brett Favre 2.0. All hype and a turnover machine. It's not a fault of his, it's just what QBs liked him do. He plays in a dome half the season and still has basically 2-1 int ratio. Or damn close to it. I'd take him, but it would be night and day compared to TB.

Andre Johnson will pull a hammy like normal, and Gore has a poor OL in front of him. Their defense is still old, slow and soft as charmin. Sure they might have an easy schedule, but don't think they are very formidable. I think the #1 contender to Pats is the Ravens followed by the Broncos then the Colts. The Chiefs could also be a team to watch, that is if their WR's can catch TD's unlike last year...

I seriously cannot understand why anyone has an issue with Luck. He's not a ****, he's said over and over that we beat them fair and square and he's a great young QB who has lived up to the hype.

Its cause he's on the colts it be no different if he was on the giants or jets.

And I'll take tough as nails Rivers over 6 picks in 2 games against us when it matters Luck.

Age be damned. If you chuck picks in the postseason like ol noodle arm...stay away from the football team I root for, thank you.

Manning didn't start to consistently do better than 2:1 until he turned 27.
Brady didn't start to consistently do better than 2:1 until he turned 30.

It must be those season killing INTs he throws (against, disregard) to us in the postseason...

Rivers is 11:9 TD:INT in the postseason, and that ratio didn't turn positive until he was 32 and had a 3:0 playoff run. He's also 4-5 w/l during his career. Luck's already at 3-3, and he's already got a 2-1 postseason under his belt.

Brady didn't start to consistently do better than 2:1 until he turned 30.

Brady also did more by 30 than most. Mannings problems were the weather and losing composure in critical times.

The other thing, and granted I don't watch a ton of Colts games, but does Luck ever fire it in? Like a missile? Could he make the throw Brady did to T. Brown in the '03 Super Bowl? Or to Edelman this Super a Bowl?

I don't thiny anyone can disagree with DI that Luck is the best YOUNG QB in the league, but Luck takes FAR too many risks, and whether its a bad risk or his WR not fighting for the ball, he has too many turnovers.

He's still the best young Qb in the NFL and nobody is close

Wilson may be "cleaner", but his talent as a passer is not even remotely close to Luck. It's hard to argue who has the better leadership values as none of us know either one of them, but on a pure talent perspective, we'd all take Luck as our QB if Brady retired tomorrow.

I'd still take a 37yr old Brady from 2014 over any QB in the NFL today, including Rodgers. Rodgers may be the most talented player in the NFL but he lacks Brady's drive to overcome adversity. And no matter what age Tom is, he'll always be the best in the NFL in that category, and even at 37/38, he still has elite passing talent.

Brady also did more by 30 than most.

While you're absolutely right about Brady's pre-30 overall success, it's irrelevant to the discussion of TD:INT ratio

Mannings problems were the weather and losing composure in critical times.

Manning's problem is that he's a choking dog. Manning's a choking dog because his success is predicated too much on robotic precision that goes haywire when things break down.

Yes, Luck can rifle the hell out of the ball.

He "beat" Cincy and the ghost of a Broncos squad. Meh. I like Luck. He's a good QB. May end up great, but not now. Or in the near future.

Yes, Luck can rifle the hell out of the ball.

Luck is predicated on hucking the ball all over and hoping for a play. The INT to Revis in the AFCCG. Where was that one going?

You're clearly biased on this, and it's clouded your position on the kid. That's too bad, because you're missing out on a damned good QB.

And this is what I'm talking about with regards to your bias.....

@Banjo You can give me as many "disagree" ratings as you like, but it won't change the fact that the Colts are to blame for Deflate Gate. Rather than step up to the challenge of playing better football, they would rather smear and discredit all that Tom Brady has accomplished.

If the Colts want to use Andrew Luck in the process...so be it. He and the rest of them can go to hell

Rivers on a bumb knee while the fake LT sat on the bench...

Luck....his owner and f/o cry to the league after clearly being outclassed. Not his fault, but when has the caveman had to really step up? Hell, when was his season on the line and he performed?

I'll take Rivers, thanks.

What the hell are you talking about "when has he had to really step up?" He just took his team to the AFCCG this past season. The season before, he orchestrated an amazing comeback against the Chiefs.

And this is what I'm talking about with regards to your bias.....

Hell no. I saw him play a couple times in AZ when they played Stanford. Men among boys. Had me thinking Brady stuff. Hasn't translated yet, but there is time. I just dislike the foaming at the mouth glorification that Manning got. I'll say this. I'd take Luck over Manning at the same age. I'm not biased. I just go off of what my eyes tell me. Thats all
