Dysfunction Continues with the Washington Redskins

John Morgan

For the third time in less than three years the team doctor has disputed what Washington's head coach has had to say about an injury to quarterback Robert Griffin. Besides the fact that this contradiction rarely (if ever) happens with an NFL team, what makes this even more unique is the fact that this has now happened with two different head coaches and two different physicians over that relatively short time period.

Isn't Dr. James Andrews their team doctor? Why would anyone be disputing this guy, he's probably the most renowned specialist in the NFL.

In college RG3 was not allowed to see bad tape about himself, and he asked the redskins to do the same.
This is real, heard it in washington DC on radio from a coach here.

Coach: RG3 you know that was a bad pass
RG3: no it wasnt
Coach: Son you had 2 guys open
RG3: No I didnt
Coach: yes you did, why didnt you fall back in the pocket?
RG3: no I didnt
Coach: RG3 they where clearly open
RG3: No they where not
Coach: ok, look this is the video
RG3: Ok maybe I missed a pass

um wow, this kid thinks he's great or is very insecure.

That's a lot like a Brady clip where he's talking to BB about a play he missed.

Which begs the question, who knows better, TB or BB when it comes to disecting coverages, without 20/20 hindsight.

BB has an uncanny recollection capability that I'd never challenge, but has anyone ever read a defense better than TB does?

Sadly, this sounds pretty much exactly like everything I've heard the past few years about RG3, especially the bit about, not allowing but, RG3 REFUSING, to watch negative plays of his.

He's a guy who would seemingly rather only build on the good instead of correct the bad. Unfortunately for him, since his rookie season there had been a lot more bad to correct than good to build upon.

It is very much a sheet show down in DC. However, I have zero compassion towards Daniel Snyder. That guy is a total tool.
My daughter lived in DC for a couple years. Although the nationals, are a pretty good baseball team, it is still a football town. People there take it very very seriously.

Too bad the 'Skins owner and front office do not take football seriously

Her earlier tweet actually takes this to another level. She speculated that her own husband was the source, and that the reporter is his "side piece"

Damn, I need to start following her.

Its an interesting dynamic those two have. In the attached Do Your Job clip, BB is saying TB sees EVERYTHING and has taught BB a thing or two.

Seems to me that they push each other and when greatness pushes greatness look out.
