Dan Graziano of ESPN: Brady's camp does not expect Berman to rule in their favor

It's coming down to the last day or so to make a headline grab. People are getting desperate for attention and for the ultimate glory of being called an oracle for the next potential story (of the sort)

Yup - - remember ESPN's own Sal Paolantonio yesterday morning tweeting he would be "stunned" if Judge Berman did not issue his decision by the end of day yesterday?

ESPN = Carnival Barkers

.

If Graziano is so well plugged in, then why is this the first story of any note he's broken?

As much as I am a homer, legally, I don't think Berman can overrule the NFL even though he wants to. Please make me wrong Berman.
Berman told the NFL to their face that he has done it before with other cases in which the arbitration proceedings were unfair.

I'm willing to bet he is not bluffing.

I hope so man. I really hope so. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than seeing Berman list all the things the NFL are wrong about in mass media.

I disagree with Deus vehemently on so many things. But he is sooo right to shoot down this endless talking point that simply isn't true.

Dan Graziano is an idiot. Here he is bloviating about what Bill Belichick thinks. Everybody knows that nobody knows what Bill Belichick thinks, except maybe, Bill Belichick.

Nothing we say is true. We're all speculating on a messageboard.

I suspect that (a) Graziano's report is accurate and (b) the ultimate source of this report is Kessler and the NFLPA's legal team. Allow me to translate.
They like their case, and the way it’s dragged on has increased their optimism.
We did a great job and because of that there is reason to hope.
But they still know the odds are against them.
The odds are stacked against us. So if we win this case (which we really think we will but are not saying), it'll show what geniuses we are.

I doubt anyone on Brady's legal team will say anything besides "We expect a just decision and have faith in the judge" on the record. I imagine they are preparing for the worst given the tight timeline they're working with.

Anything off the record from "we're doomed" to "it's in the bag" to "the fix is in" should be treated with extreme skepticism . . . especially when ESPN is the source.

I hope to heck we just get the ruling soon so this nonsense will stop.

This just in: a rich Nigerian prince has made me a most magnanimous financial offer which, upon activating his link, will place me in the upper echelon with Warren Buffet and Bill Gates!

Propagandists from BSPN!

BSPN epitomizes cognitive dissonance.

Agree 100%. Suddenly everyone in the world is an expert on sports/labor law.

Tanguay The Troll was filling in on EEI again this afternoon and said that it's 100% guaranteed that Berman is going to rule for the NFL. Then Dale Arnold came on and said that he's convinced that Brady can't lose. Then while driving home I couldn't handle listening to the Sox getting beat by the Yankees so in a moment of weakness I turned on the Felger and Parrot Show and and was stunned to hear Mikey say he thought Brady was going to win ( even though he obviously cheated)

No one really knows what Berman will do and people are just killing time by offering their opinions while waiting.

So Dan is literally reporting nothing. Literally nothing.

Cool
Yes, but it's not a "Seinfeld" type of nothing. It's the type of nothing that people who think about what they speak, tend to not bother saying.

I almost feel bad for Graziano since people are jumping on him when he didn't really report anything new.

Then I remember that it's his job to be a sports journalist, yet he's just throwing clickbait headlines with literally no content at his audience. You can't deliberately mislead people then be surprised when they're pissed. So **** him.

Trey wingo was on the local radio station here and he also said the nfl will win because how the CBA is. FWIW.

Quick - name the non-patriot affiliated ESPN employees who've said anything not favoring the NFL's case...... Hmmmmmm
I know someone else asked this but where is Tedy? I don't watch espn hardly ever but have seen many people posting he's MIA.
