Dan Graziano of ESPN: Brady's camp does not expect Berman to rule in their favor

To compare - if you look at your weather forecast and see it's a 30% chance of rain tonight, you wouldn't say "I expect it to rain". It's 70% likely it will not rain. But that doesn't mean it won't rain. This all basically boils down to twisting words into a quote that implies something that the source didn't really mean.
I agree. And regardless of what Judge Berman has said in the hearings, he is a somewhat unknown commodity to the NFLPA (and the NFL). This is not like Judge Doty, who has ruled for the NFLPA multiple times in the past. So what anyone thinks is just conjecture.

Brady definitely has a better chance of winning than a meteorologist has of being consistently correct in his forecasts, however.

I abhor torture and the death penalty and you're seriously making me reconsider those stances.
I have it on good authority that they found Bin Laden by forcing prisoners to watch first take with Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless until they broke.

Opposing torture and opposing ESPN are synonymous. It's just cruel and unusual.

Right. We've never been in this situation before. Someone saying "well we don't really have any precedent outside of the general win/loss record of arbitration suits here, so based on that it's more likely we lose than win" is not anything remotely resembling a "scoop".

I could have said this about Brady 4 or 5 years ago. But at this point in his life, with kids and a marriage, I think he would be a little worn out by all this, and I'm not sure he's as aggressive anymore.

I think that's an interesting point. I think you might be right.

He sort of had the FU thing going on being picked in the sixth round, spygate, and then before the Super Bowl this nonsense. I just feel like after they won the Super Bowl he probably felt like, good, let me just play football now. I don't know if you can get ramped up for a fury-filled tour forever.

He'll still be damn great, of course.

Brady and the NFLPA have nothing to gain by saying this at this time so it's either coming from someone who has no idea what s/he is talking about or someone in the Brady / NFLPA camp has loose lips and told the wrong person about some conversations that might or might not have been nothing more than late night musings over a bottle of Scotch.

Just F off ESPN, you're about as credible as O.J. at this point.

Please someone, make them stop.
I did, I turned them off a couple years ago, they don't exist as far as I'm concerned.

No one knows except Berman's law clerks and family until the decision comes down. I think he modifies the award but confirms it. The question is what the modification is. We'll see.

The notion that labor arbitration awards never get vacated is a bit dated. Judges want to do the right thing, like Judge Doty did.

It's unlikely Brady wins. Been this way from the get go. Odds of Overturning an arbitration decision minuscule. This is unions fault for allowing goodell the power

I dont know why PA would tell this or leak this as to what they believe. What kind of news is this?
Playing with the NFL'S head. Let them be ****y and untruthful. And Bradys camp can remain humble. Just a hunch. But mostly, I don't believe 99.9 percent of anything BSPN and NFLN say. Really

Agreed, only watch them when the Pats play, and especially watch them when the Pats win the Super Bowl. Seems to piss them off so much :). I just eat up all those bitter tears.

Here's the people he talked to in the Brady camp. Maybe he uses Google like the MCI

A better use of time while we wait out for the ruling.......seeking out $$$ opportunities...and during times of volatility....opportunity arises.
Week 1 ...Pats giving 3. I like it with Jimmy G...I LOVE IT with Brady under center.
Iron.........hot....but the line should undergo extreme volatility once Brady is liberated.
Big Tony on line 2......

Pretty sure Kessler would go to the mat for a case he thought he couldn't win. He sounds like a tilting a windmills kinda guy.

Like Rocky Balboa in Rocky III. Mick sets him up vs softies, gets pounded by Mr T. has the wife, kid and big house. Afraid to lose it all. He needs to go to Watts with Apollo to learn how to get that Eye of the Tiger again as he hasn't been hungry since he won that belt.

Are you kidding me?
