Bob McNair is not a very bright man

not too bright in Texas....you see Bob what escalated it was the NFL leaking the wrong information to ESPN. That douchebag Mort running with the wrong numbers, and never retracting it, Goodell's phoney Wells report, and the ensuing media pile-on fueled by NFL disinformation.

Hey @StephStradley not only does this "reasonable" man McNair say there's no evidence but that they're guilty too https://twitter.com/mikemeltser/status/638801335123615745…

Translation-McNair assumes NFL info/process fair. Just as Kraft did when he cooperated w/ Wells. Owners have no idea

@StephStradley Translation-in order to nullify Belichick/Brady's talent advantage we believe taking away 1st round pick and suspension helps

As Dan patrick said today , kraft bowing down hurt brady more than the wells report. Now the owners can say all the crap they want.

Maybe he suffered a concussion somewhere along the line.

Yea probably suffered multiple concussions from banging his head against the wall in frustration over Kraft and Brady not co-operating and has Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) because of it.

McNair, from the ESPN article:

"Is there anything conclusive there? No, you don't have any conclusive evidence,"

McNair added: "In the minds of somebody in that organization, they thought it was important. They thought it would give them a competitive advantage, and that's why they did it ... "

Those words speak for themselves.
Ok well that tells us what he believes.

At the same time, McNair's basically in the same place that Kraft was in before his franchise got historically screwed, when he went to bat for Goodell during the Rice fiasco. We'll see if he still feels the same way if Goodell ever decides to string up Watt on made up charges.

As far as destroying phones, I'd bet money that Watt has and does destroy his phones when he's done with them. He'd be foolish not to. But while we're on the topic of "things Watt wouldn't do", let's make a list. And let's start it with "win a playoff game".

Thank you Bob for helping your beloved fellow owners and bosom buddy Goodell throw Brady under the bus. Too late now to say you didn't think it was going to happen because you thought the bus driver was reasonable.

Hope he doesn't come crying to Johnathan Kraft when the Texans get boned.

McNair saying tha Watt would never destroy his phone reminds me of parents who say "my son/daughter would Never do anything wrong" only to get a phone call from from said son/daughter from the klink. Ma/dad can you bail me out?

In our time together my wife has destroyed 3 cellphones and after each one was destroyed she started using A DIFFERENT CELLPHONE.

I'm on the phone with a lawyer right now because McNair has opened my eyes and clearly my wife is involved in some diabolical scheme.

Here's hoping JJ Watt gets a surprise piss test and they find more roids In him Than David Boston.
Let's remember, JJ Watt didn't say anything and I'm sure he's not pleased to have been dragged into this by his senile owner. Bet he's looking forward to his next press outing. I know I will.

Fair is fair. What Steph Stradely. is essentially true. Kraft supported Goodell throughout the Bountygate and Rice fiasco's when Goodell's judgment and conduct was nearly as bad as this, and we didn't hear a peep.

Clearly ownership has NOT done a thorough job at overseeing their commissioner. Generally when they all speak they just sound stupid. McNair is just the latest in a long line of owner/idiots.

Oh, the owner of the Useless Texans

They would be in the playoffs if they could beat the Colts

He does realize that he's got a head coach from the Belicheck tree plus both QB's???

42-14, and playoff 41-28 , 2013 still hurts . I mean how could Pats kill Texans, when the Texans have a better team ? And that is what most NFL teams are still trying to figure out . And BB is in everyone of their tiny little brains....and meantime the Pats are just doing their job .

I wish I had Stephanie Stradley's balanced mind, but then I wish all the owners had a similar augmentation. Despite all the misdirection, lies, deceits and fabrications by Goodell and Co, the League of Dishonorable Gentlemen remain blissfully ignorant of their flaws. The owners are totally unaware of the dishonor the NFL office is bringing on the league and themselves individually.

Time for a wake up call - but not another NFL investigation please. Wouldn't it be better if we could orchestrate switching of all visual NFL feeds when the ads are on. Not the games themselves, though that might send a message. The more damaging is blanketing out the output of their ad-paying customers. Nothing hurts the NFL more than their advertisers not getting mass audience eyes on their marketing.
