Bob McNair is not a very bright man

.......and here we go. It's the next phase of the League Office attack. Now that it's becoming clear to even the most virulent hater, that nothing happened at the AFCCG. Goodell has shifted his attack to blame the Pats for being "uncooperative". It's weak, but something they can sell to people inclined to want the Pats to be guilty of something.

So lets look that what the plan is now. They will hit the Pats through their proxies, on these 3 issues.

a. Brady was willing to take a one game suspension - That acceptance is proof of some guilt.
b. The Pats and Brady were uncooperative and that's why they need to be punished
c. Kraft accepted the penalties - Why would he do that if the Pats weren't somehow guilty.

More and more we will see the NFLN and BSPN go with those tactics over the next 8 months while the Berman's judgement is appealed.

Even though he caved you can really see what Kraft was up against. Fighting this was a non-starter.

Trying to reason with the ignorant and those who chose to stay uninformed is always a losing battle.

Nice little glimpse into the petty, jealous and paranoid minds of most other NFL owners.

Yes, but he needed to put up at least a perfunctory defense. Instead, He did a French defense before the appeal hearing could even take place AND RIGHT WHEN THE MICROSCOPES WERE ABOUT TO BE TURNED ON ROGER. Instead Roger-Dodger got a get out of jail free card and everyone was free to accept pats as guilty. At least if he had gone thru appeal process the polls would have started shifting our way sooner-more facts come out sooner.

So, it was the Patriots fault this escalated.

It's not the Colts fault for sending a false complaint to the league.

It's not Kensil and Vincent's fault for running their incompetent sting operation.

It's not the NFL's fault for feeding lies to Mortensen, King and Gerry Austin to really blow the story up.

No, it's the victims of this smear campaign who are at fault. What's next for Bob McNair, blaming female assault victims for "leading men on" and "dressing the wrong way?"

Dont forget the ever faithful smoking gun " If they are innocent, why did they fire the ball boys?"

All the more reason to move on. I am DONE once TFB and BB retire. Let's root for another ring to close it out.

Apparently, the owner of the Houston Texans blames the lack of cooperation with Brady and the Pats for the reason why Deflategate blew out of proportions. That is why it led the nightly news on every network weeks before Ted Wells even started to investigate.

Fck him and his team, the ignorant douche bag. Hes probably one of the owners pushing goodell to this point.

I'm sure BOB, RAC, VW and Vrabes are all in violent agreement with their boss.

He is an old man and his eyesight won't allow him to read so people have to tell him what's going on. For league matters he is most likely talking to the commissioner, and you know what he is telling this old man.

That's not f.ucking true and I'm tired of seeing it parroted around. The NFL ownership isn't some collective hive mind.

The point is that the commissioner has promoted his side of the story exclusively. Any owner who has arrived at any opinions contrary to the story line the league has relentessly promoted (and leaked) did so on information gathered elsewhere.

I'd take comments like McNair's with a grain of salt becuase he's simply pimping the company line. By the way, no owner has stepped up publicly to say anything other than what a great job Stokoe is doing. I agree there's no "hive mind" but an interested owner would have to work a bit to seek the truth when they immersed in propaganda.

I'd like to think that if Berman rules in favor of Brady/NFLPA, there would be some movement within the ownership group to stop the nonsense and move on the the season. We can only hope.

See what happens when you don't take your meds?! Owners want this to go away NOW. They will side with each other and NOW. Should thought about giving league a black eye when you railroaded Brady. Lets see how you deal with it when Goodell* drops hammer on you.

I wonder if this all hat no brain Texan is aware that Goodell failed to give his phone to Mueller when he was investigating the Rice Fiasco. Nevermind, we all know who was upfront with his support of the POS then.

Nothing to worry about here.
Right now influential Patriots owner Bob Kraft is proactively on the phone to McNair assertively setting him straight. Expecting McNair to recant any moment now after being taken to the woodshed.

Proof that Bob Kraft is a man of action, not empty words!

McNair, from the ESPN article:

"Is there anything conclusive there? No, you don't have any conclusive evidence,"

McNair added: "In the minds of somebody in that organization, they thought it was important. They thought it would give them a competitive advantage, and that's why they did it ... "

Those words speak for themselves.
