Especially when several active receivers are hurt, multiple fringe guys were already on IR and two more were waived/injured yesterday. These aren't the most difficult tea leaves to read. Hell, they aren't even tea leaves, the rationale might as well have been texted to us by the team overnight!

Maybe BB is saying to hell with it at this point and he wants no draft picks next year. Btwn this, the no 1st or 4th, the other picks traded. One more way for BB to prove our greatness and dominance.

Hey, maybe Saunders can be a third-down back of sorts it's mostly just catching dump-offs and then using your vision to make a play. Seems like something that plays to his strengths lol.

As a replacement for Boyce this sentence from Saunders' scouting report (and what Payton said about him) may tell all, and maybe convinced BB he'd at least be worth a look-

"Very hard worker off the field and prepares like a professional - motivated and determined."

The person I quoted mentioned that it would be awesome if a former Jet worked out great for us, I mentioned Woodhead to compare a former Jet working out great for us.

FWIW, when the Pats and Saints were practicing, I was following the Saints boards to get their perspective on things. They were huge boosters of Saunders and were pleading for him to make the team. The problem is that he's a smaller version of Brandin Cooks and was redundant for the Saints.
