Jay Feely discusses court appearance

Thinks its all asinine. Him and Mara were there to try to help settle this. Told Judge about the Jets K Ball incident and how the guy breaking in the ball was suspended but he was not and the NFL treated it totally different. Surmises Deflategte stemmed from past cheating, Tapegate and Spygate. Said the NFL is treating a speeding ticket like a homicide. SAid he talked to Tom a lot who maintains his innocence. Said years ago that the NFL ambushed players with a banned supplement when they knew anyone taking it would test positive. Said bountygate was a witch hunt.

Talked a bit about the CBA,

I heard the tail end of him this am on Fox Sports and he and the host agreed, that the worst thing for Brady was Kraft rolling over and taking the penalties. The host said, "why would Kraft take the biggest fine and penalties in NFL history, if they were truly innocent".

Should call in Aaron Rodgers, David Carr et al who weren't punished either..

Can you clarify.
Did he go in front of the judge and testify about his experience with the KBall, and the rest are his opinions given in the interview, or did he go in front of the judge and whine about everything the NFL has done to players?

It was in the robe room. Did not seem to be an official testimony although it probably was under oath. Just said he told the Judge about the Kball incident. Could not get into specifics.

Just more good news. Thanks Jay.

Jay did say that the Jets ball boy was suspended because the Pats had ratted him out about using a little pad to protect his hand when he was rubbing the balls. Bad blood

Jay was with TB when he told his Kball story to the Judge.

Called the cell phone issue and the deflator stuff semantics and asinine.

NFL has a pattern. They know there are problems but instead of sending a memo ambush teams and then punish arbitrarily

a lot of what is done before Judge's is done in their "Chambers", which is basically an office swuite, usually for a Federal Judge that consists of the Judge's office, his clerks offices, and his secretary. It usually also has a conference room and of course, bathroom.

When you go to swear out a search and/or arrest warrant, it is done in the Judge's chambers (he swears you in, so you are testifying under oath) and never in open court. So for Feely to be discussing the case with the Judge in his chambers versus in open court, does not put any more or less meaning to his testimony.

Yeah ,I figured it was official. It was just not a out on the open with reporters thing. But its testimony.

I think that is a very positive development. Would have been concerned if he said all of those other things in front of the judge, because it would have made him look like he had a vendetta.

Thanks, Bob!

Please, hand over the team to Jonathan today.

Definitely. Sounds like it was just Kball and out. All the other stuff he was talking about was because Gottlieb asked him about it. Also, asked why the players let fraudger have so much power etc

If you poured him a scotch and asked him privately, Jonathan would have let things play out a little longer.

He implied that he didn't talk unless spoken to. Sounds like the judge dictated the conversation and was interested in the Jets K ball situation. Feeley stated that they discussed similarities and differences in the case but the fact remained that Feeley was not investigated and the ball attendant was suspended

Yesterday even Dan Patrick also was wondering in very helpless/disgusted voice why kraft bowed down.

Heavy stuff, the NFL is f..cked, I hope.
