Where settlement negotiations ended up

c'mon with this crap...THERE HS NEVER BEEN ANY OFFER FROM BRADY!!!!!!!

This is all emanating from the scumbags at NFLoffices...jeezus krist they have a freakin' whacko Jet fan manning their official TWITTER Page!! EVERYTHING you see being "reported" is from these scumbags and even worse, from Disney Corp.

BTW, Judge Berman HAS to know this....how can the NFL continue with this charade?

I agree, Joker. Until I hear it from Kessler, Dee Smith, Gisele, TB12 Sr. or TB12 himself I'm not believing a damn word from anyone else.

As far as I am concerned, TB12 was NEVER willing to sit out a game.

Rappport is full of ****.

I just had an annoying thought.

If Brady was seriously considering accepting a one-game suspension just to get it over with, how likely is he to file the defamation suit we all are hoping for?

Actually, I think there's some hope, just because it doesn't have to be filed until next off-season. So his current weariness with the whole matter will likely have ebbed.

And indeed he'll probably be on wait-and-see. Where does his reputation wind up after a few months? How are his endorsement and health-company business prospects? Etc.

If Brady was willing to serve a one game suspension for noncooperation, he would likely have done so on the condition that the NFL withdraw the Wells Report and publicly acknowledge that the report's conclusions and the investigation itself were flawed. Under this scenario, the league would almost certainly leak "Brady will take one game" and that would have been "true" as far as it went, but (as usual) it would not be the whole truth.

I previously stated my reasons for disagreement, which is that people are ascribing too much weight to the difference between an actual offer and a trial balloon.

The NFL war/disinformation campaign continues unabated. They more likely than not what Berman will hand down and are carpet bombing to set the narrative.

My understanding is Brady rejected the NFL'S final offer, which was no admission of guilt and no fine but he would have to sit out every game against the Jets for the rest of his career. Good move by Brady, that would be a minimum 16 games.

I take Patfankens position that the media makes this stuff up as they go along, or if they don't make it up out of whole cloth they take a rumor and embelish it. From the beginning this framgate smear campaign has been riddled with false leaks. A couple of months ago i read the link to a story on here about brady willing to accept a one game suspension. I posted that if he did so it would be an admission of guilt. I got a reply asking me if i had read the article. I said i had, but the source of the story wasn't revealed. To me unless Brady or his appointed lawyer(s) comes out and says something its not true, just un-substantiated rumor.
