With sports information obtained with Twitter and MyFace and all the rest ...
The only way sports radio survives is as a discussion forum with some interviews and entertainment.
Nobody who follows sports closely gets inside or quick info from a sports program.
Ordway understands entertainment ... he flip-flops too much on the sports and I think he's learned a bit.
Look no further than Douchebag and Spliff .... entertainment brings ratings ... which brings $$$.

On the bright side Tanguay has lost out again and should be collecting bottles pretty soon. Can't wait until he disappears for good.

Heard this morning on the D&C show that he has gotten a lot of hate from Pat Fans. Might have had something to do with it.

He was trying to be as clownish as possible about it to generate the hate because he thought that it would make him controversial and as such desirable to the people doing the hiring. He has essentially been begging for a job and so insufferable that I had to turn it off when he came on.

...and what's annoying is that he thinks the hate mail is because he has been steadfast in his belief that Brady did something.

The reason he didn't get the job is because he is a pretentious, elitist, condescending, over the top contrarian hack who lacks the ability and substance to build an argument based on reason and facts. He never really did his homework and listeners saw right through him struggle with an identity crisis.

In other words, hes was a fake, useless and brought nothing to the table.

At least with Ordway there is some logic, intelligence and depth there and if forced to listen people won't start pulling their hair out.

Ordway got in trouble when he lost control of the Big Show and gave waaaay to much unstructured platform time to idiots like Sheppard (who I like...call it a weakness) DeOssie, Smerlas and that sniveling hack Bill Burt.

Merloni will control himself. He needs to mentor and control Fauria as he can get a little goofy from time to time.

sorry deus, but felger and mazz have earned my loyalty for the mid-day hours

As long as he isn't given the authority to turn the midday show into that horrific frat-house Smerlas, DeOssie, Bill Burt **** show he'll be fine.

Besides...no Tanguay is a victory for mankind.

Deossie does the post game show at the Sports Hub. He's out at WEEI

Yea, I didn't mind just Lou and Fauria... Ordway brings nothing... He's not funny, informed or objective. Just another loudmouth who thinks way too highly of himself.
Well you could get to hear all there is to know about Davio's;)

I really dislike how he thinks guys screaming at each other makes for good radio. If he can calm that crap down it might be listenable.

So long as they let him talk about the one sport he knows sometimes, basketball.

Probably in the minority here, but I like Ordway

I wasn't a huge fan of the Whiner Line (except of course when our Joker called in), and I do think he was getting a little too big for his britches, but maybe his time on the unemployment line knocked him down a bit

I think he's knowledgeable about sports, does good interviews, and actually likes the local sports teams (which is getting tougher to find these days on the radio dial)

And I agree that it's fantastic that Tanguay was denied the job

Maybe the rejection will end his little contrarian shtick that he's been overusing the last few months
