Wow this is certainly going to bring a much bigger light on the NFLs corruption.

NFL no likey. Luke Wilson as RG...

That trailer looked really good. Will Smith looks like he turns in a great performance.

Were they able to use Heinz field for this? I wonder who allowed that?

The movie was filmed in Pittsburgh as Dr. Bennet Omalu was at the U of Pittsburgh as a Pathologist...he is the one who autopsied Mike Webster. The scenes are filmed at Pittsburgh Studios. I actually visited the set. I was pretty awesome to see.
I know the background story a bit...a brilliant guy who has no real ties to football discovers CTE and tries to make the public aware and the NFL tries to stop him.
They filmed last year (all before deflategate) and the timing on the release could not be better. Between this movie and (hopefully) an anti-NFL ruling on deflate gate, the public will have a new appreciation for the propaganda-pushing NFL.

Speaking of Concussions what is the deal with Russel Wilson? Concussion preventing water?

Really? What a psycho.

Just so you know. The NFL was able to get it's hands on this movie too. From the Sony hack.

Damn, that's messed up and really a shame. I would much rather have an uncompromised story that doesn't include team logos or game footage than something that has the league's hands on it. Sony was probably right to recognize that the public would want game footage and wouldn't care much about accuracy, though.

Brady once endorsed a powder claiming to do something similar. Google "Tom Brady NeuroSafe." If you can't do it, Ben Volin will help you. ;)

Brady endorsed it and then they started attributing quotes to him they didn't say and later claimed it prevents concussions and Brady pretty quickly cut ties with them.

Wilson seems to really believe this stuff and is standing by his product though.

Brady's a great football player -- the greatest, perhaps -- but he's kind of an idiot, and I'm sure people will get worked up saying he's not but I haven't seen much to disprove that.

The Seahawks, man... a 9/11 truther for a head coach and a snake oil salesman at quarterback.

FDA and FTC should slam this company. Wilson is an owner and can't make unsubstantiated medical claims.

Not saying Brady is a genius or anything but i think he is smart enough not to hurt his brand by supporting a hack product. Trying to find a time line to back up what i told you but it was such a small time story at the time i am having issues finding anything.

Read this paragraph from the below link. Ask yourself 'Does this sound oddly familiar?'

".......One of Smith’s publicists emailed the Sony Pictures crew saying, “CONCUSSION is going to piss off the NFL. We should not try to pretend otherwise. Moreover, there is no concession we could make short of agreeing to cancel the project entirely that could possibly satisfy them. Our strategy should thus be based on the assumption that we are going to be facing a powerful adversary that may try to prevent the movie from being made — and, failing that, to ensure that as few people as possible see it or take it seriously.” He also argued that the NFL would attempt to use its partnerships with ESPN and Nike to fight the film. Considering what happened with the original Frontline documentary — the film was originally co-produced by ESPN before commissioner Roger Goodell reportedly pushed the network to back out of its deal with PBS — this seems possible. But then again, the controversy caused by ESPN backing out probably gave the film more publicity than it would have had otherwise. And that film didn’t have Will Smith."

All you have to do is substitute the name "Tom Brady" for "Will Smith".
