And now we wait. Tick Tock....

@jayfeely: Does anyone wonder why the Nflpa wants neutral arbitration for ALL appeals cases?

September 10, 2014. Clear to see what side he has been on all along.

So decision coming today/tomorrow. I guess that means judge already knows what he is going to do

I'm so confused.

I think I understand why Feely is there but I thought that new evidence and testimony wasn't allowed as both sides agreed?

I hate that Mara is there. I understand that Berman invited him but he is an owner and essentially on the NFL's side. It is not in his best interest to help negotiate a settlement for a number of reasons.

feely is implicated in the NFLPA rebuttal...he is material

What time is practice today? Quick helicopter ride for Brady from NYC to Foxboro.

Sciz, forgive me but what does this mean?

I'm thinking more tomorrow. IMO Berman will side with brady, site why, and then he will comment about the case in general. I don't see the judge writing that up and announcing the decision in the next few hours.

unless his decision is already made and it is already written up and the only thing that happened today is a last ditch attempt at not having to render that decision

I agree with you, bang on.

This judge brings up precedent time and again and I would not at all be surprised if the judge gave out an equipment fine ... makes absolute perfect sense to any logical human being...

Judge Berman cannot give out fines in this case.

I can't remember if it was "A Few Good Men" or another court drama, but I keep thinking of the scene when the lawyer trotted in two pilots who were never going to testify, but were threatening all the same.

*Spoilers*

He brought in two pilots, and it was a bluff because there were not in fact the pilots in question, the lawyer gambled that they didn't know what the pilots in question looked like.

for some reason i think the suspension holds but he grants brady a injunction.
wishful thinking at this point.

would be a devastating blow if the judge rules for the nfl....:(would make me absolutely sick!
