@viccarucci: The #Bills have released RB Fred Jackson as part of their roster cut to 75, according to an #NFL source.

More BB kryptonite gone. Wonder if we'd be interested.

If BB thinks it's worth a shot and he can help, go for it.

I think the ship has sailed on that one.

I'd kick the tires.
We're all worked up over Goodell vs Brady. We'd be willing to kick practically anything. :D.

As for Fred Jackson, he hasn't really burned BB too much so I imagine there is only a little bit of interest.

This time of year is like an NFL yard sale.

Always thought he would end up here eventually but, we're loaded at running back right now. Have too many as it is.

Why? Cadet hasn't shown what he can do yet........probably a cut because of Pats RB depth. Is he PS eligible?

I bet BB is on the phone with him.

i say there is close to 100% chance he signs with us

No. Shadow roster.

Jackson's stats last year:

141 Rushes for 525 Yards
66 Receptions for 501 Yards

I'd take a look. He's never been to the playoffs, he'll be hungry.

That is more yards Rushing and Receiving than the younger Shane Vereen last year!

Is this early release a "courtesy vet" move like BB does for "esteemed vets" that won't make his roster.
PS...Fred Jackson ====>Clock Killin 2.0 ??
