Prospect Primer-Defensive Lineman

You have Robert Nkemdiche listed as a senior, I believe he's only a junior.

I will say this. Even if Chandler Jones goes idk how much of a need DE will be. We got Rob and Sheard next year and I like both rookies (though Grisson right now appears to be more disruptive as a pass rushing DT on 3rd and long from what i have seen of him).

I am not against taking a DE if Chandler goes. I just would not consider it a need the Pats would absolutely need to adress in the top rounds.

DT is kind of interesting. Yes they have Brown/Easley hopefully long term. Also Siliga is hopefully long term too. Frankly after those 3 I am not sure how things will go. Branch could easily be gone this year or next and I don't think Chris Jones makes this team as things stand now. Frankly after those 3 the depth is in question after the 2015 year and even though they spent first round picks on those spots it might not be a bad place to invest again.

Thanks for the write up. Interesting food for thought.

But what Patriots really need for 2016 is a "new" veteran player to replace Branch. more so then another Rookie. I know they should have players in the pipeline and I agree they should get someone on day 3 but not on day 2.

I don't want to draft him. I know literally nothing about him but I don't want to learn how to pronounce that last name.

I believe you are right, good catch. I was so worried about spelling his name right that I screwed up what year he was.

BTW, have these been helpful? I came up with the idea so I could have a "master" list to go through for when I was DVR'ing games and thought it might be a nice guide for others who were doing the same. I am working on LB's as we speak and hope to post it later tonight or tommorow and then finish up with the secondary on Tuesday or Wednesday so the lists are ready for Thursday.

Chris Jones is still on PUP. He can be carried there into the season.

FWIW, Florida's Jon Bullard is a bad, bad man.

Can really see him being a Patriot pick. arguably the best run-defending edge player in CFB and plays inside too. Have been writing a Pats mock for a few days and have Bullard at 64.

Nice find on those clips. Assuming they don't re-sign Chandler Jones, a long-term front four featuring Bullard, Easley, Flowers would be very nice in terms of generating pressure, both off the edge and up the middle. It would also be stout against the run. I'd have no problem with Bullard at 64.

When watching Hargreaves Bullard definitely flashed.
