1) I don't have Lewis or Harper making this team. They are the type of player that the preseason and Practice Squads were made for. I have White and Dobson instead.

2) Swanson belongs on the Practice Squad. Are you really afraid that someone else will pick him up? Ebner is my choice.

3) If Dane Fletcher doesn't make the 53, he'll be on the PUP list; ditto for Chris Jones.

1) I now believe Lewis is a better...more explosive 3rd down back then White. Lewis has more NFL experience. That counts as well. Harper is not injured. I am tired of injuries. Dobson/Boyce/Tyms are either injured, inconsistent, lazy and possibly all of the above...IMO. Their is some bad voodoo going on there.

2) I am not afraid of Swanson going to PS...he was there last season. I believe we have a need for him now on the 53.

So, you think that we need to have six capable corners, plus whoever we have on the Practice Squad. I think that 5 is plenty, and usually more than plenty, since we only need to have four active corners.

Yes I agree with that...but their are injuries, little depth and total uncertainty who is playing where except CB#1. It would be a good thing IMO to have 6 incase a few games into the season we realize putting so-and-so at one of the positions was a very bad idea. This way at least we have more options. That is my only thinking.

Not nearly enough speed at RB, but Bill will keep the slow vets instead of Lewis.
Chandler is really a TE3 and Hoohah a TE4, but we don't have a TE2.
No legit Swing Tackle, no starting LG, and Andrews is a PS talent but Bill likes him for some reason.
WR is a hot, steamy pile of poo.
Keeping Morris for now; he's our only backup MLB. I have Grissom as Collins' backup.
Dakota Watson is the best of the rest of the LBs, by far.
Ryan & McClain are terrible, but Swanson is worse and Roberts is headed to IR.

Didn't include Wendell, LaFell, Chris Jones or Dane Fletcher.

I'd keep Groy over PS played Andrews.

You DID include Chris Jones. You need a 3rd NT type instead.
Did you something in Dakota Watson that we haven't? I have no issues, but would pick Freeney.

Replaced Chris Jones with Zach Moore.
Also changed my mind re: TF Wilson and replaced him with Antonio Johnson. Wouldn't surprise if Branch is waived in the hopes of signing him to a non-guaranteed contract after Week 1.
I like Dakaota Watson as an athletic vet compared to Freeny, who has looked terrible on defense.

-Harper beats out Dobson. Dobson doesn't earn a vet pass for failure to get on the field. 3 years of fail is enough.
-I haven't been impressed with J.White, J.Freeny or L.Ryan but im afraid BB will keep them around. I'd rather keep D.Watson or one of the Johnsons: Rufus or Antonio
-I think BB starts season OL heavy because I think Andrews has earned a spot. Stork seems to be a little injury prone early in his career and you can never have enough Centers and Andrews has played well.
-With the OL the possibility of M.Williams or R.Groy (seeing as how they were traded for) making the team is possible if so C.Fleming probably loses his spot.

Honestly with the minor exception of A.Johnson, R.Johnson and D.Watson I don't see the cuts as being that hard. Sure some might say Boyce (come on now the guy catches 1 out of every 5 balls thrown to him) or Dobson (Cant play? dont stay!) but I gave up on them LAST year.

Agree with Boyce & Dropson, disagree with Andrews, who was pretty sucky last night. I like Kline as the backup Center if Wendell starts at LG.

- Dropson is terrible, but he'll have another chance.
- Harper makes the 54 because of Gibson's needless injury.
- Cannonfodder is either IRed or waived. Something's wrong with him.
- I prefer the energy of Zach Moore & Rufus J to the lethargy & cap hit of Branch.
- I prefer Morris & Watson to any of the other backup LBs, by far.
- I chose Swanson as the 5th CB, though I suspect that Bill will choose McClain.
- Naturally, I prefer Ebner to TFWilson.
- LaFell, Chris Jones & Dane Fletcher to PUP.

You guys are forgetting to keep 3rd QB. If Brady stays suspended, we can't roll with 1QB for 4 weeks. Plus Brady should be a roster exemption until he can play.

Why do you think that the team will carry Roberts on the 53? Somehow, I think McClain would be much useful. So would Swanson.

Also, are you related to Wilson? On your roster, Wilson would never, ever see the field. There are better uses of the roster spot.

Until I hear the official word on Roberts’s injury situation he is on my 53 man roster. If he is injured and out for an extended period of time I would move him to injured reserve and add Swanson or another CB from another team. I would not keep McClain, I think he has showed awfully this preseason.

Wilson is a good special team’s player, which is why I am keeping him. I have Slater, Ebner, and Wilson making the team primarily for special team’s purposes.

My plan is to sneak Zach Moore onto the practice squad after week 1, clearing a roster spot for Blount.

Ebner and Tavon Wilson get in as special teamers and I dropped Hooman and the idea of a FB to keep Chris Harper who we might struggle to get through to PS. I think McClain ends up getting the edge over Swanson although I'm fine with BB going the other way.
