Mortenson on AZ radio: "I was right, the Krafts apologized and BB is the reason for "deflategate"

I already knew he was a sack of ****, but I guess this further confirms it? He's been in full-blown CYA mode since the Wells Report came out.

There's no room for interpretation here, he was simply wrong about "11 of 12 balls were 2 psi under". Must figure that if he lies hard enough and often enough people will forget how wrong he was.

Some people say the strangest ****

Just what exactly did Football Family Kraft apologize for?

Oh, we're sorry Mort. We should have actually deflated the balls so as not to make you look like a gullible fraud who the league sources played like a ukelele.

Both Robert and Jonathan Kraft have called and apologized to me for 'just the way this thing has gone down'.

That's interesting.

"In particular, we do not believe there was any wrongdoing or knowledge of wrongdoing by Patriots ownership, Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick or any other Patriots coach in the matters investigated. We also do not believe there was any wrongdoing or knowledge of wrongdoing by Patriots Head Equipment Manager Dave Schoenfeld."

Headline is wrong. He did not say BB is to blame he said BB was the first one who 'implicated' Brady

Guy just spews ********. And what clinches it for me is that he said Jonathan called him and apologized, don't buy that for a second.

Chris has hid behind the ignorance his followers. His irresponsible tweet does not explain that the "2 psi" or the "significantly" INCLUDES the effects of weather. So people that trust his tweet still believe that the footballs were intentionally deflated by a significant amount. Such a worthless *******.

I can't click on the link (blocked here). Is it really true? Until I hear it myself, I'm not going to believe it.

Mort has to know he was lied to and used by the league. That is not really debatable, is it? Belichick did not implicate Brady...He said "We don't do that". Tom said "We don't do that".

If true, it sounds like ESPN is really circling the wagons. If he has more evidence, he best spill it.

The last couple of times I've heard him talk about this he's been a stuttering stammering idiot.

For any of you who might be interested in a career in psychiatry, that is a clear example of early onset dementia

He's been doing alot of that Everytime I've heard him recently , probably having a hard time remembering which lies he's told!

I just think he's a broken man since his integrity he built a career on is gone.

Just because you read it a certain way doesn't mean I wrote it that way. Him saying BB was the first to implicate Brad was basically him saying that BB was the one that made this what it has become. I just couldn't fit it in the thread title so I shortened it to that.

Plus f*** that hack nfl schill. If there is anyone that gets to be quoted wrong it is him.

He's still trying to whitewash the 2 lb under by pointing out that he later edited it to read significantly under inflated. He also tries to minimize the whole psi part of it (and the lying to him aspect) by reminding everyone that he called his source (why would someone lie to me if I called him??) and he was only interested in the number of balls affected. It really just sounds like spin after the fact trying to recover his reputation.

He also tries to convince everyone that he didn't implicate Brady, the media didn't implicate Brady, but it was BB (I guess by saying go ask Tom?). More spin and more deflection.

And what exactly has happened to his speaking skills - did they just go right out the window? Geez, he's been hard to follow the last couple of times I've heard him in interviews.

I had to stop listening when Wolf asked "when did you realize this was the biggest story to hit the NFL" (paraphrasing). What a **** Mort is. Didn't he just come out, recently, and say exactly the opposite? The media really are the slime of the earth, who feed upon peoples appetite for controversy. Add Mort to the long list of lying, publicity seeking POS. His agent probably told him to play this angle.
