OT: Pouncey injures ankles

Looks like he will likely need surgery and miss a significant amount of time. Doubt he plays in the season opener.

I will care about this the moment I know number 12 will be playing and not a moment sooner.

No Bell, No Pouncey should make them a lot more one-dimensional on offense, at least. And if Tuitt's out, running on them should be a lot more doable. If Brady's out, that game just became a lot more winnable.

Don't get me wrong, injuries totally suck and absolutely shouldn't be rooted for. It's a shame to see guys get injured in preseason especially. But given that it's happened, might a swell discuss what it means for the Pats.

All that means is that Roth will pass..pass..pass...Not sure I'm down with that scenario

Sorry, I just can't gather any sympathy for PitsDirt players from the U who ran with The Prisoner.

I was going to say that the guy can't catch a break, but, unfortunately, that's exactly what he caught. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Pouncey would have made Brown's debut very difficult. Now I'm hopefull

No Bell, no Pouncey, no Bryant for the Steelers in Week 1. That means the Steelers will be without their starting RB, C, and #2 WR against the Pats. That offense could really struggle.

Cue the tin foil steelers homers saying how this was the league helping the Pats if Brady doesn't play.

Regrettably, they are dumb enough that this is likely how they really feel.

When it happened and he grabbed his ankles, I thought Pouncey was paying tribute to his prisoner buddy AHern's newest jailhouse pasttime.

Unfortunate injury. I weep for the Steelers fans.
