From PFT piece on Michael Bennett:

Bennett also scoffed at the fallout from Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs hitting Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford in a preseason game last weekend, saying Bradford “was about to cry” and wondering why quarterbacks are treated differently.

“Someone tries to hit me in the legs every play,” Bennett said. “So what makes his life better than mine?

“I respect Tom Brady because when Tom Brady gets hit, he gets up and says, ‘Good job, good hit. He gets back in the huddle and handles his own, like a man. You have guys crying when they get hit like, ‘Oh, Suggs, Suggs hit me.'”

But Terrell Suggs said that Brady got a whole nonexistent rule change simply from crying so much. Who ti believe?

Just goes to show: when Suggs says one thing, and an actual human being says something else, go with the human.

Majority of players know TB12 is the toughest quarterback in the league. Only those blinded by jealousy or being a sore lose say otherwise

Suggs respects Brady. The true Suggs comes out on games days when he is mic'd up. Listen to games against the Pats where he is mic'd up and you can hear the respect ooze out of his mouth.

And while you're at it, the next recommended video is the divisional round recap vs. the Ravens. Just watched it, 8 minutes well spent.

Here's the thing about the Suggs hit.

It's not that hitting the QB at all is illegal. It's not. It's not that hitting a QB after handing the ball off in the read option is illegal. It's not.

Diving at a QBs knees? Always illegal.

Diving at a QB's knees 3 STEPS AFTER HE HANDED THE BALL OFF? Cheap and suspendable, IMO. He won't even get a fine, I imagine. He should have been ejected from the game.

It's not the fact that he hit Bradford that was the "cheap shot". It's that he hit him WAY late.

NFL sure is fast blocking their videos...wish they were as fas retracting false rumours about Brady and football PSI's.
FYI - if you click the UTube underline, it will link you the video (after a 20 second commercial)

Yeah I remember the moment from the video when Brady actually says it. But I do believe that the actual players in the NFL have a ton of respect for Brady as a player. Even though plenty probably are under the belief that he did "ask for balls to be deflated", I think to a lot of them it doesn't matter.

When the players recently ranked the top players, TB12 came in at #3 despite all the ******** this offseason. I think that speaks a lot more than a bunch of media hacks behind a laptop or on the radio calling him a cheater and saying his legacy is ruined.

I was going to post that article too.

It could be a great link for when opposing fans say that Brady is a soft whiner calling for bogus penalties, and indeed got a QB-protecting rule made just for him ...

uumm... And it is the Carson Palmer rule that they are thinking of. That's the rule about not hitting the QB's knees.

Seahawks player - why he hates NFL quarterbacks (he compliments Brady though)

http://www.businessinsider.com/seah...explains-why-he-hates-nfl-quarterbacks-2015-8

This was unexpected to me. He hates that they are pandered to, even bad ones make a great deal of money, are protected but then the article says "Bennett said he respects Tom Brady because when Brady gets tackled, he gets up and says, "Good job, good hit," and then continues back to the huddle."

nice to hear.
