Greg Doyel - "Patriot or Traitor"

Wow Doyle is awful. I'm not riled up but I think Colts fans should be. Reggie Wayne is one of the best players in the history of their organization. Then the Colts decide they don't want him anymore and he goes to a team that does want him. What a traitor! That's a pretty crappy way to say good bye to a player who gave them his career.

I thought it was pretty good that Robert Mathis posted a "Are you ****ing serious?" response to Doyle's article.

I would venture to guess that more Colts fans feel more like Robert Mathis, and less like Gregg (2 g's, really all you need to know) Doyel.

That's probably true. Doyle does mention it in the article. But still I think it's kind of ridiculous for any of fan to hold it against him. It was kind of like some Pats fans were *****ing at Deion Branch for signing w/the Colts when he never actually played (I don't think).

When it came to Vinatieri he was offered a similar contract by the Pats and walked. I was kinda pissed but never held it against him. Colts never even tried.

Wow. Im not a mental health professional. But Doyel has issues.

It doesn't surprise me that people like him exist, because a lot of people are stupid, a lot of people are jealous and petty, and therefore a lot of people are both.

What does surprise me is that people like him are given a platform to spread their stupid opinions. Although I guess we can't really take the regional high ground here, since the Globe gives its own set of malicious idiots their own platforms.

It's natural to be upset when one of your legendary players puts on a rival's jersey but calling him a traitor is excessive to say the least.

doyle and bob kravtiz...
two butthurt jealous old men. they should be embarrassed..
Kravitz is an old salt. He knows better. He's a bad reporter who cut his teeth at the NY Post and couldn't hack it at SI

I dont think Doyel is that old. I think hes just an a hole.

I heard Doyel on the radio once....He definitely is a true believer in deflategate. Not many who have followed the story really closely are still in that camp.

Doyle has short term memory loss.
Wayne Didn't give up on the colts, the Colts gave up on him

He's applied about the same level of intelligence and critical thought to this as he did to deflategate.

That's the most generous possible description I can come up with.

Doyel was a Patriots hater long before Deflategate and even before he was demoted from CBS Sports to the Indy Star. He used to go on the DA show when he was still doing the 7-12 shift on 98.5 and predict the demise of Brady and the Patriots. And DA hasn't been on 98.5 in that role for years.

Reggie Wayne is more of a Colt than Doyel will ever be. 'Nough said.

I'm lovin' the comment section of that Doyel article lol. Pats' trolls are all over it. They are soldiers from Pats' Nation and God bless 'em!image.jpg

Reggie Wayne is clearly one of the most popular Colts ever to play in this city. In fact, it’s possible that only two others belong in the conversation: Peyton Manning and Robert Mathis. Andrew Luck will get there someday, and perhaps T.Y. Hilton and Pat McAfee, but the kind of loyalty enjoyed around here by Wayne, Manning and Mathis comes with excellence and time classily served.

What about Marvin Harrison? Dwight Freeney? Does this guy have the memory of a goldfish?

thank christ we didn't have any of these trolls writing about wilfork ---we, didn't, right?
I'm out of state
